Chapter 92 92 – The Problems

And what surprised me even more was that she was completely naked. I hastily turned her body and was surprised again.

She was snoring, and snot was coming out of her nose like crazy. I hastily took off my robe and wrapped this woman, then picked her up and transferred her to the bed in her room.

"Anyone! Bring something warm here!!!" I shouted while wiping the doctor\'s nose. "Fast!!!"

Not long after, Ayre entered the room. As soon as she saw Lexi\'s trembling body and blue lips, she let out a fire that floated in her hand.

"I happened to be passing by." Ayre brought the fireball closer to the doctor. "What happened?"

"I don\'t fucking know." I scratched my hair in confusion.

We don\'t have a good heating system yet, so most wear thick warm clothes. I can\'t understand why Lexi is completely naked in this cold autumn.

"She often stays up late to do research. Looks like the person from the shadow organization excited her. You know, the one who can turn into a demon." Robyn entered the room and explained. "She has an unreliable magic heater, and it often goes off. Well, it\'s still a prototype, though."

"She does like researching naked. She says it helps her concentrate more." I sighed. "Maybe because she was too concentrated on research, she forgot to sleep and didn\'t realize the heater was off."

Ayre pressed the back of her hand to the doctor\'s head. "She has a fever."

"Too bad, even though I want to take her somewhere. I need her opinion as an expert magic-user." I shrugged. "Well, it can\'t be helped."

"Ah, I heard you wanted to meet a particular blacksmith in Madcrest City." Ayre continued to check on Lexi\'s condition. "That blacksmith is said to use magic to make powerful weapons and armor. You don\'t need to go to an enchanter after getting things from her."

Enchanting is the art of adding magic attributes to any object. So, a blacksmith who can do magic makes everything convenient. And because she understands metal very well, her enchantment results are said to be better.

"Yeah, maybe the blacksmith has a clue about the Ragmonuk metal in the undead cave. Even Emily doesn\'t really understand that metal, other than that it has magic attributes." I continued. "And to ensure that blacksmith isn\'t just talking nonsense, I intend to bring in an expert magic-user."

"And it would be great if the blacksmith could process the metal into armor or weapons for you and the others." Ayre rubbed her chin.

I looked at Robyn, who immediately shrugged. "Maybe you can bring Bran, Lord Vorn. I think he\'s the only skilled magic-user besides Doc."

I\'m not too fond of the attitude of that former kingdom\'s mage. He might be able to teach others how to open a huge pocket dimension portal. However, his envy and hatred for other people\'s achievements annoyed me.

Should I wait for Lexi to recover? But I want to get out of here immediately. It was so that I wouldn\'t overthink about Phisovia.

And I need a solid reason to do that. Leaving for no apparent reason would worsen my subordinates\' view of me.

"I can\'t say I\'m good at magic, but I\'ve learned a lot," Ayre mumbled. "Maybe I\'m not as experienced as Bran, but..."

"You come with me then." I cut off the shapeshifter\'s words. "We\'re leaving tomorrow."

Suddenly Lexi sneezed ten times in a row. She then looked at us alternately with a snot from her nose.

"Why are you guys here?" Her voice also turned hoarse.

"Can a minotaur like me unite with humans, my lord?"

Ritor\'s surprising question left me speechless. One day after I found Lexi passed out at her house, I was walking to oversee construction in the cave.

"I heard that Lana asked Doc about the progress on the method for transforming into a demon." The minotaur general sighed. "Looks like Lana is really insecure about our relationship. Maybe she thinks the two of us won\'t be able to be together in the long term."

Is that what makes Lexi even more eager to check out that demon-transforming shadow members?

"No one opposes or hinders your relationship, right?" I patted the horned creature\'s arm. "However, if you\'re really worried about that, I\'m sure we\'ll find a solution."

"Thanks, and sorry for discussing this unimportant matter."

"No, no problem at all," I assured him. "I\'m glad you wanted to be more open with me."

Well, like me, the residents of this place have their own worries. They are intelligent beings, after all.

I know I won\'t be able to satisfy them all. All I can do is try my best.

We arrived at the cave entrance, and several individuals were already waiting for me. Xenora came to me carrying a bag and a dark-grey fur leather coat.

"Robyn and I made this, Your Honor. It\'s getting colder." Xenora, now wears proper clothes for the cold weather because I forced her, put a coat on me. "Hope you like it."

"Thank you. It\'s good and comfortable." I put on a smile. "I just hope you two don\'t use the fur from one of our minotaur corpses."

Emily laughed hard while Xenora turned her head to Robyn, who immediately shook her head.

"No, no, no... O-one of us managed to kill a big wolf that entered this area!" Robyn stammers.

"Sorry if my joke was too dark." I\'m laughing. "Ayre, Emily, we\'re leaving now. We\'ll be teleporting to Nueridge before flying to Madcrest city."

The two women leaned closer to me, and I opened the game UI to teleport. However, I noticed something strange in Xenora\'s movements. She fiddled with her fingers and looked the other way.

"You have something to say, Xenora?" Emily asked before I did.

The succubus took a deep breath. "I can\'t come because I have to train a new batch of succubi. So, I hope you can take good care of Lord Vorn, Emily."

The supreme undead chuckled. "Of course. Don\'t worry."

"I will also take care of him." Ayre raised her hand, still wearing her signature blank expression.

I widened my smile. "All of you, take good care of our home. Goodbye."

"Very well, my lord!" They answered in unison while bowing

I then pressed the teleport button.
