Chapter 462 459- Chosen Tournament (6)
Everyone hearing this was slightly shocked.
“Do you remember what I said back then?”
Xian said as he glanced at Li Wen and Lihua behind Jun.
“Not everyone in the Demonic Cult are blood thirsty monsters, some are just people forced to live like that.”
Yang Su remained silent for a moment then asked.
“Are you the one who started the revolt?”
Xian nodded.
“Then aren’t you afraid you’ll be making enemies with the Demonic Cult? How strong is your group?”
Xian shrugged his shoulders as he said.
“We aren’t strong individuals, but what we lack in strength we make up in numbers. And besides, we have members hidden inside the Demonic Cult so we currently have the advantage to cause some Chaos. So, do you agree to form an alliance? The enemy of my enemy is my friends, isn\'t that not how the saying goes?”
Yang Su looked at Xian with narrowed eyes. He felt that the way Xian was looking at him was strange. Plus, Yang Su was suspicious that Xian held another motive for joining them.
After a while, Yang Su finally responded.
“This isn’t up to me, Master will make the decision.”
“Oh? Has big brother Shen recovered? I want to see my other half.”
Xian looked around the crowd of youths as he said that.
Yang Su immediately frowned and said.
“Don’t call Master that, your not qualified. And as for him being here, we do not know.”
“Ah, I see. It would be strange if he would show up just like that. After all, almost everyone here is looking out for him.”
As Xian said that a few people in the crowd could weirdly be seen sticking close to their group. This had been going on for a while now.
These people were hoping to stay close to them in hopes of Li Shen, who they think is Dai Hee, appearing.
There were even people from the Fire Empire and Water Empire that surrounded the entire square. If Li Shen ever made an appearance, hundreds if not thousands of disciples would jump him.
The fact that Li Shen might have already consumed the pills did not deter these people at all.
Jun upon hearing Yang Su’s words, took a quick glance towards the Fire Empire group. The desire to say something raise in his heart, but he eventually managed to stop himself.
What, or rather who, Jun was looking at among the youths from the Fire Empire group was a young man that looked around seventeen or eighteen.
Among the other youths in the group, this young man was pretty average.
He did look rather fierce while wearing the Fire Empire’s red coat, which had the signature red flame on the back representing their Fire Empire. And he also exuded an heroic air while he wore a headband with the Fire Empire’s flame on it, while carrying a long sword at his waist.
Not too outstanding, not too mediocre, just average.
However, if one looked closely at his eyes, one would see a hidden glint in them as he looked at the runes on the teleportation circle.
There were two groups of people from the Fire Empire taking the teleportation circle. The first had already left with Gu Jin and Shiming in it.
This was the second group taking the teleportation circle.
As the group stepped onto the teleportation circle, the average-looking young man continued to look at the runes on it.
‘What is this?’
The young man was in fact Li Shen in disguise. He had been careful not to draw any attention to himself, but right now he couldn’t think of anything else besides these runes.
Soon, Li Shen’s face became solemn the more he analyze the runes on the teleportation circle.
‘These fucking bastards!’
Li Shen couldn’t help but curse out loud in his heart; his face become uglier and uglier by the second.
‘There’s no way this is a simple teleportation circle. Beneath all of these false runes are fucking Dimensional Spatial Runes! Are they sending us to another Dimension and not somewhere else on the Star Bound Continent? Just what the hell are these people from the Fire Empire planning?’
Li Shen felt that something bad was on the horizon.
‘I didn’t find anything about this from this person’s memory. But then again, I was unable to fully scan his memory before he died.’
Li Shen clicked his tongue in annoyance.
“Sigil, what’s with you?”
Someone next to Li Shen suddenly asked when he heard his tsk and saw the expression on his face.
Li Shen quickly came out of his thoughts and said to this person.
“Ah, it’s nothing. Just deep in thought.”
The boy next to Li Shen sighed after hearing this response. He then slung an arm over Li Shen’s shoulder and said ina comforting tone.
“Look, Sigil, just forget about that girl already. She’s not worth it, she might have a killer body but what’s the use if she goes around sleeping with every guy she meets?”
“I-I know…”
Li Shen said with a forced smile on his face.
However, as this youth that had his arm around him continued to try and cheer him up, Li Shen glance at him and thought in his head.
‘Look at this shameless fucker.’
The person identity Li Shen had stolen was a regular member within the group of people chosen to accompany the Young Lord to enter the Chosen Tournament, and subsequently the Hidden Fragmented Realm.
From the memories Li Shen read before killing him, this young man was depressed after he was cheated on before coming to the Star Bound Continent.
However, as it turns out, just before he left for the Star Bound Continent, this young man found out who his girlfriend cheated on him with... it was this friend next to him. The same one who was trying to cheer him up.
As Li Shen went over this love drama in his mind, he thought again.
‘Should I go through with it? That’s the least I can do after taking this person’s identity.’
What Li Shen was talking about was the young man was actually planning on killing this shameless friend inside the Hidden Fragmented Realm.
Despite knowing that he would be killed as a result of murdering a fellow disciple from the Fire Empire, this young man was willing to die to seek revenge.
Li Shen sighed, realizing there were too many pitiful people in this world. First, it was Dai Hee, and now it was this person.
But this got Li Shen thinking of his own situation.
‘Ah! Lu Yue wouldn’t cheat on me would she?’
Thinking of how neglectful he had been towards her, Li Shen suddenly began getting antsy to talk with her.
‘No, before that I should warn the others.’
After thinking that, Li Shen opened his connection with Tai.
‘Tai…’
Tai who was with others perked up.
‘Mast-I mean, Dai Hee! You finally spoke to me. I was waiting for you to contact me so I can explain why this connection between us exis-’
Tai was speaking rather fast, but Li Shen suddenly cut him off.
‘Tai, it\'s me.’
‘…’
Tai went silent for a moment, then Li Shen heard him say.
‘…Master?’
‘Yes, Tai, I regained my memories.’
Li Shen said this while a small smile crept onto his face.
‘Sniffle…’
Li Shen suddenly heard Tai sniffling and he laughed before saying.
‘What, are you crying? And here I thought you had grown since we last met… How are the others?’
‘They\'re all waiting for you to show up. Oh, and there’s Xian here saying he wants to join forces with us.’
‘Xian…?’
Li Shen held a hand to his chin while a thoughtful expression appeared on his face when he heard that. However, the light on the teleportation circle suddenly lit up.
‘Ah, Tai, that has to wait. I’ll meet you guys inside the other Dimension.’
‘What?’
Tai was confused when he heard that.
Meanwhile, Li Shen looked down to see that the teleportation circle was about to fully teleport him way, so he hurriedly said.
‘The teleportation circle leads to another Dimension. I need you to try your best to keep everyone together, can you do that Tai?’
Tai’s mind raced, and he quickly understood what Li Shen meant.
‘Of course I can Master! After all, I’ve become way stronger!’
As the teleportation circle was about to teleport him away, Li Shen smiled and said.
‘Alright, I’m continuing on Tai.’
‘Oh, wait Master, I think Jun figured out your back. He keeps glancing in your direction.’
‘Haha, I’m not surprised-’
With that, Li Shen was whisked away by the teleportation circle.
