Chapter 10: CHRIS’S POV
Chapter 10: CHRIS\'S POV
When mom called me about Alicia\'s new blind date plans, I couldn\'t focus on my work any longer. Although my sister has always been outstanding in everything she embarks on, relationships aren\'t her best work. She is a woman you can read easily as an open book, but somehow, I can never tell what she really thinks about having her own companion, she can be a little too rational about her own feelings, although mom never really puts many expectations to the people we date, I have very high standards for any man who so much as breaths the same air as my precious sister does.
The moment she entered my office, I could tell she was not in the least bit happy about the way I chose to be at odds with her in a lawsuit her company way facing this time. Although she had always been able to handle her work peacefully without any hiccups, it seems like she was starting to involve her emotions with the company as well and the only method i can use to let her know of her mistake is by forcing her to see her wrong doings herself.
If she really planned to fix her problems, she might need to keep a little distance with her subordinates for a while, but knowing her, it might be a problem for her to do that.
That was when I decided by myself to take charge of the new date she would go on a blind date with, the only way I can assure that she spends less time with unnecessary people is by keeping her busy with someone who might take up most of her time. \'She needs a challenge\' I thought to myself. But what I did not know was that I might have given her more than what she can chew this time and it was too late for me to take back the bet I made with her.
