Chapter 219 Let's Go Hunting Again.(2)
They kept on strolling until they entered the cafeteria. Inside the cafeteria, they were served their food. Of course, this came after they\'d dropped the needed copper coins.
They began digging the food right in front of them, and after they were done eating, they walked out of the cafeteria along with other students.
Walking on the compound, they began talking about hunting once again. Yes, they were back to discussing it again, what the experience would be like tomorrow.
******
Hunting was to take place between Aiden, Oliver, and Ava. This was something they had engaged in before more than once. But it\'s been some time now since they last hunted together.
..Well, it was gonna happen again soon.
As said, for the past weeks, Oliver had been visiting forests to hunt alone, he was the king of the wildernesses, he can\'t do without hunting. But now, he was gonna do it with his friends again...it was a nice feeling.
He was the happiest among them, he was in anticipation of the hunting. He got home and quickly put the things they\'d need for the hunting into his school bag.
..In fact, he was ready to keep some books at home just so the things could fit into his bag.
At this moment, they were more important than the books. What things are we talking about here? Bows, quivers, and arrows. As known, arrows were kept in the quivers, especially when a person is hunting.
He or she would have to be taking the arrows from the quiver one after the other. So the arrows were in the quivers as Oliver was putting them into his bag. Mini arrows, mini quivers, and mini bows.
..They weren\'t meant for war, they were meant for hunting, so they weren\'t too large.
He put them into his bag and was anticipating the next day, as said, he was the happiest among the three of them. The upcoming hunting was making him glad.
Well, the next day reached, and Aiden, Oliver, and Ava had already arrived at school. They were currently sitting in their seats as a teacher was in front of the classroom teaching them.
As usual, both of them arrived before Aiden. And due to that, Aiden hadn\'t been able to converse with them just like yesterday. Today\'s own was worse, he arrived later than yesterday.
And this happened because he trekked. And not long after reaching the classroom and balancing on his seat, a teacher stepped foot into the classroom, that was the teacher teaching them currently.
..So this is the reason why Aiden hadn\'t been able to converse with them.
He wanted to know if Oliver brought the things they\'d use for the hunting. Yes, he\'d most likely bring them, but he wanted to confirm. Now, Oliver was feeling something, it does happen.
He wasn\'t glancing at Aiden, but he had the feeling Aiden wanted to confirm something from him...and his feeling was right. Slowly, he began turning his head around to glance at Aiden.
The teacher was still teaching, but he didn\'t care about that, all he knew was that he wanted to glance at Aiden. Not like he\'d glance at Aiden and they\'d start conversing...no, he just wanted to confirm if his feeling was right.
He had finished turning his head around, and his feeling was right. Glancing at Aiden, Aiden was glancing at him as well. This shows something, his gaze had been focused on him for some time now...he wanted to confirm something.
The moment their eyes met, Aiden gave Oliver the look of, \'Did you bring them?\'.
And Oliver nodded his head a little signifying, \'Yes, I brought them\'.
..What were they referring to? As known, the things they\'d use for hunting.
A little smile appeared on Aiden\'s face, and Oliver faced front.
\'My feeling was right\'. Oliver thought to himself, that feeling that Aiden wanted to confirm something from him.
Well, the teacher kept on teaching until she was done teaching, then she stepped out of their classroom. Another teacher stepped foot into their classroom after that.
Today would just be like yesterday...teachers would keep trooping into their classroom nonstop. Teachers kept entering and coming out of their classroom. And they weren\'t just entering and coming out, they were teaching in the process.
Time passed, it got to break hour, and students began walking out of their classrooms heading to the cafeteria...
Aiden, Oliver, and Ava weren\'t left out, they made their way to the cafeteria as well, ate, and departed from it. After that, the bell rang to signify \'library time\'.
..Yes, today was library time, but none of them visited the library though.
Who are we referring to here? Aiden, Oliver, and Ava...they didn\'t visit the library, but other students did. Yes, they aren\'t the only ones in the academy, if they choose not to visit the library at library time, that doesn\'t stop other students from visiting it.
They were in anticipation of the hunting, that\'s one of the main reasons why they chose not to visit the library.
Time passed, more teachers stepped foot into their classroom, and now, it\'s gotten to closing hour. Students were already carrying their bags and walking out of the classroom.
..That should have been the same case for Oliver, Ava, and Aiden, but they had a plan.
They\'d leave the classroom, but not yet, there were some things needed to be done before leaving the classroom. After carrying their bags, the three of them came together.
And this was the utterance that flowed out of Aiden\'s mouth while glancing at Oliver, "Let\'s see them".
Oliver opened his bag, and everything was in it. Two mini bows, and two mini quivers with mini arrows in them. And there was also a sack in his bag. And as known, each of the sharp edges of the arrows had already been dipped into poison.
When the sharp edge of an arrow pierces right straight into an animal\'s skin, the poison would infiltrate its body and would cause it to die faster. Yes, Oliver did the job of dipping each of the sharp edges of an arrow into a liquid poison.
..It wasn\'t easy, but it wasn\'t too stressful for him \'cause he had passion for it.
And we all know what they wanted to hunt, grass cutters. Yes, those creatures have a lot of meat in them. The moment Aiden and Ava set eyes on the things Oliver brought, a little smile appeared on their faces.
This wasn\'t the first time they were going hunting, so Aiden and Ava had learned to make use of this hunting equipment properly...
Yes, Ava had improved a lot, same as Aiden, his hunting skills were better than Ava\'s. As for Oliver, he had been hunting ever since, he was an expert, the king of the wildernesses.
"This is just nice". Ava stated after setting eyes on the equipment.
"Yes, we\'d make sure to catch some grass cutters". Oliver voiced out.
All Aiden did was nod his head, then Oliver closed his bag.
"Let\'s move". Aiden finally spoke.
The three of them walked out of the classroom, the last people to walk out of the classroom. They can\'t let other students hear their conversation or see what Oliver brought?
They can\'t let anyone know they wanted to go hunting...that\'s why they waited for everyone to leave the classroom before coming together and discussing it.
They had arrived at the compound by now as they were walking past people. The people seeing them had no single idea of what they wanted to go do...not even the slightest.
Well, they walked out of the academy completely as they were walking on the road currently. As they strolled, they conversed,
"Now, which wilderness are we gonna visit?". Ava threw a question.
"We are gonna visit the one we\'ve visited before. The one that doesn\'t have that much dangerous thing in it". Oliver responded.
..And at that moment, Aiden was wondering, \'Is it the one that has the Mudville River close to it?\'.
Yeah, we all remember that river, the one that was only meant for females. Within the time they\'ve gone hunting, they\'d visited different less dangerous wildernesses.
They\'d even visited the one that had the Mudville River close to it more than once. So Aiden was wondering if it was that one they were heading to now. He wanted to ask Oliver, but he decided not to.
You know, Oliver was always the one that decides what forest they were gonna hunt in any time they wanted to hunt together. As they were strolling, Oliver was cracking his brain, he was trying to decide which forest they were gonna hunt in.
And the moment he decided, he voiced out, "I know the forest we are gonna hunt in".
"Which one?". Aiden immediately inquired.
"You\'ll see it once we get there". Oliver stated once again.
They kept on journeying until they arrived in front of the forest they were gonna hunt in...and it was that forest that had the Mudville River close to it.
