Chapter 875

Chapter 875: Let Me Join

The hustle and bustle of the streets in Myriad Devils still surrounded what happened yesterday. The near-doom that they experienced would be foretold over and over but all of them paused whatever they were doing. All heads turned one by one as their ears heard a walk from a group. Their eyes widened as they saw who they were and some started to make way for the group. No words were spoken, as they unknowingly braced their chest up as if saluting them.

A party that far surpassed the likelihood of the Leviathan Party. The group that repelled their doomsday. The rise of an unknown savior, led by a young man with the confidence of a hundred men. All of them had glimmers in their eyes, whether they were humans or demi-humans. An aspiring group that broke through a new era.

“Young master, you’re brimming with smiles,” Kesya uttered with a grin with her hands behind her head.

‘Shh! I’m trying to keep my cool,’ said Lyon through Mana Transmission.

“Hehe!” Kesya chuckled freely.

Lumina rolled her eyes before she approached Lyon, and asked him, “Are you truly ready to meet her?”

“Absolutely,” Lyon nodded. “Whether there be dragons or whatever, they can’t stop me.”

“Then what about your mother?” asked Lumina.

Lyon sharpened her eyes, “She too must be found, even if I have to cut the entire continent open.”

“That’s overreacting,” Lumina squinted her eyes. “Though, maybe you could.”

“Right?” Lyon laughed. “But seriously though, I will find her, grandfather said that she is waiting for me at the highest peak, I don’t know where is it yet.”

“It won’t be that hard to find,” Lumina said. “Just look up which, which peak penetrated the clouds.”

“All peaks,” Lyon slouched.

Lumina snorted a smile, “You will find her, Lyon.”

“En!” Lyon nodded twice with a smile.

The adventurers saw them left toward the west gate of the city.

“Hey, where do you think they’re going?” asked one adventurer.

“The west?” answered his friend as he watched them go.

“You think I’m stupid or something?”

“Well do you think I would know?”

“I’ve heard that there is a destroyed town in the west, they’re not going there are they?” sighed the adventurer.

“But it’s only yesterday that they killed those beasts, don’t they like, take a break or something?”

“Talk about professional, I would never achieve that kind of dedication.”

“Why don’t we follow them? We can just run away when things went to shit.”

“That’s the dumbest idea I’ve ever heard.”

“What? Why would it?”

“Remember the Bahamut story? How many innocents died when the beast was on a rampage? Do you want to have a gravestone written ‘died as collateral damage’? Well, do you?”

“Oof, that’s a harsh way of putting it,” the adventurer sighed before looking at the party already leaving the west gate. “I guess we will never achieve their ranks.”

“Probably not, but maybe if we are as professional as them.”

Lyon took a deep breath of fresh air the moment he arrived at the meadows. He opened his eyes before looking at the blue sky and the clouds hovering in them.

“If you want to meet her as soon as possible, we need to make haste,” said Zelena.

“I know, but with the fresh air and the gentle wind of nature, you just have to stop by and appreciate it,” Lyon smiled.

“Your lack of caution might rip your chance of meeting her,” said Zelena with a frown.

“Maybe, but full of caution will rip my chance of meeting her, ’cause I will just give up, greatness always sits behind dangers, especially something worthwhile!” Lyon grinned as he strode forward, leaving Zelena standing in disbelief.

A hand took her shoulder before she saw Cecile’s face. “Don’t be too surprised, he is like that most of the time, you will get used to it.”

“But what about the risk? Won’t recklessness kill him?” Zelena asked.

“Hahaha,” Cecile laughed before leaving her standing alone.

Zelena furrowed her brows baffled. “Why is she laughing? Is this party really that… Ugh! I ran out of words! Wait for me!” she ran in a hurry before catching up to Lyon, “Don’t you think that we need to run?”

“You just said to be cautious? Did I hear it wrong?” Lyon raised his brows.

“Don’t act like an idiot Lyon,” Zelena frowned. “You can still be cautious even when in a hurry.”

“Maybe, but do you think that woman would keep up with us?” Lyon smiled.

“Huh? What are you talking about?”

Kesya giggled, “Your charm really is a trouble for us all, young master.”

Lumina sighed, “She really wants to die.”

“Huh? What?” Zelena frowned. “Someone is following us?”

“Someone is, though, she is quite lacking, hehe,” Kesya grinned. “Want me to scoop her out?”

“Who is it?” Zelena asked.

“Who else? It’s the woman you met yesterday after you got out of the room,” said Cecile with a sigh.

“Farash?!” Zelena muttered before her brows raised and looked at Cecile. ( Wait a minute, how did she know that I met her? Did Farash tell her? ) thought Zelena.

“What?” Cecile asked.

“Nothing,” Zelena shook her head. “Farash is a capable woman, I think she would be fine in fleeing the scene the moment dangers sink in.”

“From a beast she might be fine, but from your sister?” Cecile smirked.

Zelena frowned but didn’t look back. She kept up with Lyon before asking, “Are you sure that you’re gonna let her follow us?”

“It’s her legs,” Lyon shrugged. “She is following us at her own whim.”

“But you’re letting her!” said Zelena before she stopped and turned around then shouted, “Farash!”

Lyon didn’t stop as he leisurely continued the path he chose.

“Oh my, did I get found out that easily?” Her voice rang out of nowhere before she revealed herself to be hiding behind a small boulder. “Did I ever tell you how aware you are of your surrounding, Zelena?”

Zelena frowned before she approached her with balled fists and furrowed brows.

“Ooh?” Farash raised both brows and smiled. “Did I do something wrong?”

“Did I do something wrong?,” Zelena mimicked her voice in a childish way, “What are you doing here?!”

“What? I’m just strolling the area, it’s not like I don’t like green views or something,” Farash answered.

“Oh don’t give me that,” Zelena furrowed her brows. “It’s obvious that you’re following us!”

“I’m not following you,” Farash shook her head.

“Cut the crap Farash, don’t ruin your life because you want to have more status than you are now!” said Zelena.

“What’s with you? Why are you being so pushy?” Farash frowned. “You might be a strong adventurer, but it’s not like I can’t beat you.”

“I don’t need to beat you, what you’re about to face if you continued this, is my sister!” said Zelena with a glare.

“So?”

“You gonna die,” Zelena grabbed both of Farash’s shoulders.

“It’s my life Zelena,” Farash frowned before pushing both hands away. “I’ll do what I want.”

“You idiot,” Zelena insulted. “You have no idea how merciless she is!”

“What’s with both you and Cecile anyway, it’s not like Lyon doesn’t have a couple of wives already, why can’t I join in?”

“Because of my sister!” said Zelena.

“Enough!” Farash raised her voice before pointing her finger at Zelena’s chest, “I want to do what I want, it’s my life,” she pushed her away before running toward Lyon’s party.

Zelena sighed. “That idiot, why is she giving herself away.”

“Lyon! Yuhu!!”

Lyon turned before waving at her with a smile. “Hey, you…” ( What’s her name again, oh right, Farash ).

Cecile turned. “Oh my, you sure don’t know how to give up.”

“Hahaha, sister Cecile, why are you being so mean, it’s not like I’m here with harm in mind.” She hovered her glance toward Lyon before darting back toward Cecile.

“So why, are you following us? You’re not here to stop us from advancing further are you?” asked Cecile.

“No, no, no, how can I do that,” Farash giggled, “I’m not here because I’m the Water Guild’s leader, I’m here because I’m Farash, just an adventurer.”

“Are you sure?” Lyon raised his brows, “What will happen to your guild if something were to happen?”

“They can take care of themselves,” Farash nodded. “I know their capabilities.”

“Well, fine by me but don’t drag us down,” said Cecile.

Farash nodded with a smile before Zelena caught up to them.

“Alright, let’s continue,” Lyon stretched his arms before leading the group once more.

Cecile walked at the back with Zelena before she asked, “I thought that you don’t care if she followed us or not.”

“It was an act to deter her motivation,” Zelena frowned. “I never thought that she would actually do it.”

Cecile chuckled, “You’re underestimating people’s greed for power and status, especially those from a lower class.”

Zelena sighed, “I just hope she would show a bit of mercy when Farash becomes assertive.”
