Chapter 389 Getting Into Trouble

CHAPTER 389
And having to tease her further made him feel great as he continued to trouble his father.
"Besides, I love to see her in this state knowing only I get to do this to her."
Both Andromeda and Liu Jinchen\'s eyes went wide open at Liu Xueyi\'s bold words. If she was not embarrassed before, she most definitely was now.
"That being said," he pressed a kiss on top of her head while maintaining eye contact with his father. "What brings the Chairman of Liu Corporation to my office? Or did you grow bored of your work father and happened to miss me?"
"Xueyi…"
"Ah, I see you came here as my father, calling me by my given name and not…"\'Liu Xueyi!" Chairman Liu yelled at his son, cutting the crap out of him entirely and silencing him.
"Yes, father, to what do I owe the visit?" He said it more calmly than before.
Seeing the Chairman\'s brows quirk at his unruly son, Andromeda released a deep breath.
Knowing Liu Xueyi he was going to continue making trouble until Andromeda was free and safe. Left with no other choice, she decided to take the matter into her hands and solve this minor dispute on its way to a major conflict.
"My apologies for his behaviour. As his girlfriend, I should caution him better."
While Liu Jinchen arched his brows in shock at Andromeda\'s attitude, Liu Xueyi raised his brow at her dismissal and took responsibility for his unruliness.
"Please overlook this incident. In fact, Mr. Liu has been eagerly talking about you and could not contain his joy, at having the Chairman visit. In the end, he is a child eager for his father\'s love and attention."
The more Andromeda spoke, the less angry Liu Jinchen felt and quickly asked her to lift her head while clearing his throat.
Liu Xueyi was glad he was doing a perfect job until someone took the bat from his hand. Now, he found himself at her mercy, and he hated it.
This was his battle.
Instinctively, Andromeda ignored the glare he gave her until the Chairman turned his face away, slightly in anger.
When she got the chance, she glared daggers at him and twisted her lips while pointing at him to bow.
\'No.\' He twisted his lips back in anger.
\'Yes.\' Andromeda communicated back. Using their eyes to send signals and solve their problem, they completely forgot the company they had until Liu Jinchen cleared his throat.
"Tsk," he rolled his eyes at her, ducked his head and gave a small apology.
Having his son bent to a woman\'s will, Liu Jinchen did not think he would see this day but something about it made it funny.
"Did you find something funny, old man?" Liu Xueyi inquired, giving him suspicious eyes.
Both he and Andromeda straightened their back and waited for the Chairman to speak.
"Ahem! Nothing. I was just tired."
"Then you should retire quickly."
Imaginary bulbs burst out one by one in Liu Jinchen\'s mind as the rage he had managed to keep in rushed out at once and he exploded.
"How dare you, brat wish me unwell? Are you so eager to see me kick the bucket and take over my place?" Liu Jinchen fumed.
"Hahhaa, now you see why I said you should retire. If you weren\'t way over your head, you would have understood what I meant about your health. Why would I be eager for a position that stresses you out and make you get old quickly?" Liu Xueyi teased even more.
With each word proceeding out of his mouth, Liu Jinchen felt like throwing a punch at his son.
"Fine. Good. I am still young. Your grandfather isn\'t even dead yet," he confirmed and cleared his throat when he noticed the suspicious stares, they gave him.
"Anyways, I shall overlook this for Andromeda\'s sake. However, I wanted to know what had your steps been in taking out the Sun family?"

Andromeda\'s eyes went wide, recalling the promise Liu Xueyi made to his friends.
She looked up, her eyes searching his face for an answer. All she got was nothing but seriousness as he returned his father\'s stern gaze.
"Things are in motion."
"Good. If I am not mistaken, tomorrow is the third day, right?" Liu Jinchen asked and adjusted his tie while keeping a straight pose.
"Yes, father."
"Fine. I look forward to them making the headlines with their downfall. I want all our enemies and competitors, especially those wishing we had fallen to have a taste of what would happen should anyone tamper with the Liu family."
"Surely. They would start receiving the effect as we speak now."
"That\'s my boy. I see that even if your cheeks are smeared with lipstick your brain is still intact."
"Of course, my Andy\'s touch is only the best." Immediately he reverted from his serious self to a flirtatious one.
"No one cares."
"You sure?"
"Yes. Anyways, keep it so. I will be on my way to visit your grandfather. Be good."
"My regards to gramps," Liu Xueyi delivered just as his father turned away.
Liu Jinchen stopped abruptly. "Do so yourself. Make yourself available to him from time to time and stop being unfilial. Even your cousin is doing a better job than you."
"Chao can do all he wants. Still, I remain the favourite."
"Prideful. Tsk. Take care, Andromeda. Keep him out of trouble."
"Definitely, Chairman Liu."
She was shocked to hear him chuckle lightly as he turned around completely.
"Relax, I am not so strict. You haven\'t earned it yet. You are still my future daughter-in-law. Do not let him influence you to be a troublemaker. That is all."
Liu Xueyi waited till his father was out the door before reeling out the laughter he had been holding in.
"Do not let him influence you to be a troublemaker," he mimicked and laughed out loud once more.
Seconds passed and his laughter died down. He soon found out that Andromeda wasn\'t joining him. Instead, her anger was etched deep in her eyes and furrowed brows.
"What?"
"Take a wild guess, honey."
"I\'m doomed, aren\'t I?"
Rather than giving an answer, her lips curled into a mischievous smile.
