Chapter 127 Meeting The Family
Another upside of Leon\'s new Supreme Skill was the fact that it had no storage limit now. He was quite excited, as that meant he did not have to worry about the summons that he had not stored being gone forever when they were killed in battle. A lot of his summons had been staying within the Dark Abyss Dungeon ever since he finished that little escapade, and now, they could rest within the <Abyss of the Undead>.
With a clap of his hands to shake off metaphorical dust, Leon turned to face Jet with a grin. "Now we can go."
Jet simply shook his head. "I don\'t know if you know this, dude, but you\'re scary." He sighed. It was because he felt those vibes from Leon at their first meeting that he was reluctant to travel with Leon. Now he was sure that his instincts were correct. Leon would be a scary enemy, but was a reliable and steady friend.
Jet led the way through the portal, with his guard raised up. They could meet anything at all on the other side, so they took precautions now. The space around his body stiffened and tensed up. He was not fond of traditional armor, as he felt his space magic did a better job. He could easily freeze up the space around certain parts of his body to protect it as best as possible, while still retaining maximum agility.
Whoosh!
"What the hell?!" When they stepped through the portal, what they met was a heated battle going on right in front of them. Three people were fighting off a horde of small, three feet tall reptiles that ran around on two clawed feet. What struck Leon was the fact that all these reptiles resembled the dinosaurs that he had always heard of on Earth!
Leon had never bought that whole prehistoric story, but seeing such things in front of his eyes right now, and recalling the craziness of this whole world, along with the circumstances of his presence here, he found himself beginning to doubt his solid stance that dinosaurs had never existed.
Bang!
"Graaah!" One of the three people that was fighting suddenly let out a loud growl. He sprinted forward, and his size began to grow until he stood at eight feet tall. He was covered in bright red fur, and his eyes shone red with anger and bloodlust.
Bang!
Another solid clash rang out as the two mighty beings clashed into each other. Despite the size advantage, the ten foot tall dinosaur was easily tossed into the air. Blood rained down from its two little arm stumps. Its arms had been torn off during the clash by the furry fighter, and blood was gushing out like a fountain.
The furry fiend caught the falling body with his two arms and ripped it apart in one smooth move, showcasing his impressive strength. Even Leon, whose Strength stat was quite high, was surprised by the strength displayed by the man. But he was even more curious of what kind of transformation the man had used.
\'Is that transformation magic, or is he of a race I do not know?\' Leon wondered to himself. He glanced at Jet, who was just about ready to flee at the first chance he got.
The three red haired people that had been fighting had also taken note of Leon and Jet\'s presence. The furry fighter walked back to meet the two other people, and they all turned to look at the new arrivals.
\'Hold on a second...\' Leon noticed something wrong immediately. \'Don\'t they look like Elena?\' He asked Nedra.
\'Yup, they do.\' She confirmed it, and Leon instantly mapped out a connection between Elena and the people before him. He guessed that they were family, and he was right. Although he did not know that yet.
"Well, well, what do we have here? Competitors." A large, burly middle aged man said. He spoke with authority, and the way he held himself made it obvious that he held the most power amongst the three.
This was true. When he had noticed Leon and Jet appear behind them, he had ordered his son to transform and give them a show. It seemed the show had achieved its intended effect as he could see the tension in the stance of the human. But the skeleton beside him remained rather lax, which was surprising.
While the two sides were sizing up each other, Leon had been thinking. Did Elena tell her family about him after she ran away? If she did, then did they have any sort of gratitude for him helping their daughter?
"Hello-" Leon raised a hand to wave, but immediately had to pause when the eight foot tall Werewolf suddenly lunged at him, claws drawn and ready to bash his skull in. Leon\'s mind spun so quickly that he had already acted in a second.
Bang!
The furry fist clashed against the abdomen of a giant, black armored being. The Peak B rank summon had yet to get a name, but was already proving his worth. Which reminded him of something. He had yet to put the Spider Queen from the dungeon to work. And he needed to rename her too. Her name was too much of a mouthful.
"You dare?!" The giant armored figure had now become tied to Leon, and his loyalty was already as solid as steel, so he felt offended at how the other party had outright launched an attack on Leon. In a flash, his giant hand had wrapped around the thick arm of the Werewolf, and he raised him up and slammed him into the ground.
Bang!
Stone and rocks flew all over the place as a tremendous force was used to slam the Werewolf into the ground.
