195 Tang Moyu Loves Me Back! 1
"Ah, Moyu. There\'s no need for you to leave. Tianyi and I are already done talking. Also, I wanted to see Little Feiyu. Is he awake now?" The empress dowager asked.
"Yes, Lady Song. He\'s with my friend, Li Meili, as we speak." Tang Moyu replied.
"Then, I\'ll leave the two of you." Song Huifen said as she picked up her handbag before turning to her son. "You better be more careful next time, Tianyi. I know you don\'t like being in a hospital, so don\'t do anything that will cause you to end up here." Was her parting words before she slid the door close behind her, leaving the patient alone with Tang Moyu.
Silence ensued between them as neither was willing to start the conversation. Usually, it was Feng Tianyi who initiated their talk and Tang Moyu would reciprocate him with a few words. However, this was the first time the devil hesitated to start. He felt ashamed and guilty for what happened to Xiao Bao earlier.
"Moyu, if you are angry with me… I understand. I should have paid more attention to what they were doing while they are with me." He started, refusing to meet her eyes as her face was currently unreadable, not giving him any clue of what\'s currently going on in her mind.
However, instead of answering him, Tang Moyu rushed towards him and pulled him into a tight hug.
The devil was taken completely by surprise. This was the first time Tang Moyu had willingly touched him. With his chin resting on her shoulder, the empress didn\'t allow him space to look at her face.
"Moyu?" He asked in confusion. His arms reaching up to hold her back. He wanted to see her face, but Tang Moyu refused to budge from her position.
"Don\'t ever scare me like that ever again," she whispered in his ear.
Closing her eyes, Tang Moyu just held onto him. She felt his arms coming around her, uncertain but reassuring at the same time. In his arms, she was safe and warm. Here, she was loved and cared for. Now, all she wanted to do now was to let him know how much he meant to her.
"I\'m really sorry, Moyu. it won\'t happen again. I promise."
When she didn\'t say anything in return, Feng Tianyi felt conflicted. Why was she holding him like this anyway?
Was she afraid that something bad happened to him after trying to rescue her son?
He sighed and let her do what she wished. It\'s not like he didn\'t want to be held by her anyway, he just wasn\'t sure why she was doing this.
"You don\'t need to feel guilty, Moyu. It was my choice and I don\'t regret it one bit." Feng Tianyi sighed again. "I\'d jump into the water to save him again in a heartbeat. Because I love him and Little Star." He paused and shut his eyes, knowing the empress might take his next words as a weakness on his part. "And because I love you, Moyu."
He felt her stiffened for a moment and relaxed before he heard a low hum. Her response had him smiling, holding her close as she hugged him.
"I love you," he repeated that in a tone so low, one might think it was a secret between them.
Feng Tianyi felt her relaxed in his arms. So it seemed like the mighty empress of the business world also needed reassurances after all. He made a mental note to let her know he loved her more often.
He knew that Tang Moyu had hardly ever been loved and he was determined to ensure that she knew he loved her. For the rest of his life, no matter what he meant to her, or if she wasn\'t with him, he\'d be sure to let her know that she was loved by him.
He honestly didn\'t care if she loved him or not, but he knew that he loved her. It was hard to explain why, but he was sure of what he felt for her.?He understood that it wouldn\'t be easy for Tang Moyu to accept him because of his stupid little brother, or the fact that he was bound in a wheelchair.
Why would she want to be with him if she could be with a normal man?
Indeed, he\'d been taking his rehabilitation therapy, but there\'s no say in how long it would take for him to fully recover and appear by her side in public.
Happy with his resolve, Feng Tianyi decided to cherish this rare moment with her and held her like there was no tomorrow. He wasn\'t leaving her unless she wanted him to.
"Tianyi…" He heard her murmur into his hair which caught him off guard. The empress had never called him by his given name, even when he was still Qin Jiran in her life. Aside from that, she sounded relieved and content with him being here.
"Yes?" He asked softly. Finally, Tang Moyu pulled away and stared at him.
"You won\'t leave me?" She questioned.
He smirked, shaking his head. "Never. Are you going to?"
"No."
"Why?" He asked.
"Because you love me."
He laughed at that, curious as to why they were talking like this.
"Yes," he agreed.
"And you wanted to stay with us,"
"Uh-huh"
"And you are mine."
Feng Tianyi\'s head snapped towards her.
"What?"?He asked with uncertainty.
"Because I love you." Tang Moyu said without breaking their eye contact.
