Chapter 358 - A Very Good Night (2)
It was the damnedest thing he\'d ever experienced with a woman in his life, Feng Tianyi thought as he watched Tang Moyu sleep next to him, wrapped in his sheets, her long black hair spread over her pillow.
He initially thought that he could finally satiate his need for her once he\'d done the deed with her. What a mistake. What a miscalculation on his part.
What they had just done was more than just lovemaking. Feng Tianyi had never found himself so attuned with another person before Tang Moyu. Her pleas only fueled his d.e.s.i.r.e and need of her. He knew after tonight, he would never be able to get away from her.
No. Not this time. Now that he\'d found her, he would ensure that no other men would be able to take her away from him. Not his stupid little brother, and especially not Yun Zhen, who was clearly interested in his woman.
The ferocity of his possessiveness over the empress was startling. The need to protect her and their little buns had given him a new meaning in his life. He didn\'t want to cower in fear and humiliation like he did before meeting Tang Moyu and their twins. He could do more than that, and he was willing to stake his life just to protect the three of them.
Feng Tianyi allowed himself to fall asleep next to her. The next time he opened his eyes, he saw the sunlight streaming through his window. He slowly sat up as he was reminded of what had just happened last night.
The woman he\'d spent the night with was still snoring and deep in her own slumber. She clearly forgot that she needed to wake up early for her morning runs. She might forget to have breakfast before going to work too.
The corner of his lips curled up as he leaned forward, c.a.r.e.s.sing her b.a.r.e shoulder before placing a gentle kiss on it. He silently slipped out of the bed and dressed himself with the same clothes he peeled off the night before.
The twins would start to look for them if he and Tang Moyu didn\'t show up for breakfast and he didn\'t want them to see their mother in this state. The bed was in a mess. Tang Moyu was lying on her stomach, without a piece of thread on her, sleeping peacefully.
He came out of the room and checked the twins\' room, finding Xiao Bao on the floor, still in his blue pajamas, playing with his toy robot while Little Star was still sleeping, like her mother. Xiao Bao lifted his head and beamed him a smile before the boy got on his feet and ran towards him.
"Good morning, Daddy. I haven\'t seen Mommy yet. Is she still out on her run?" Xiao Bao asked his father, who hoisted him up in his arms.
"Good morning too, my cute little peanut. Shh… your sister and Mommy are still sleeping. Let them sleep a little more." Feng Tianyi said as he strolled towards the kitchen, placing the boy on the kitchen counter to sit. He then proceeded to check the pantry to see what he could prepare for breakfast.
"Mommy isn\'t going to work today?" The boy asked curiously. Usually, by this time, his mother was already dressed up for work, waiting for him and Little Star to wake up for breakfast before she left for the day.
However, this morning, when Xiao Bao woke up, he didn\'t find his mother reading today\'s newspaper at the dining table. She was simply nowhere to be found.
"No. I guess not today. Your mother is kinda tired. We had a long day yesterday." Feng Tianyi replied, hiding his silly grin from his son.
"So did Mommy apologize to you? Little Star and I asked her to talk to you last night. You aren\'t angry at her anymore?" Xiao Bao asked him, a wave of apprehension apparent on his cute face.
Oh, was that why the empress came to his room willingly last night? If their two little buns didn\'t intervene last night, he wouldn\'t be able to experience a little piece of heaven with the empress.
He had a good night. A very good one in fact.
He had to thank the little buns for that, so how about making their breakfast a little special today too, huh? He thought with a smile. None of those things would happen if it wasn\'t for the twins\' help.
"We already talked about it, Baobao. Don\'t worry. Your mother and I… patched things up. She apologized." To be specific, she was on her hands and knees, but their young son didn\'t need to know any of that. They shouldn\'t find out how they were conceived in the first place. Not at this age at least.
"Good because I don\'t want to see you and Mommy fighting." The boy accepted the cup of milk Feng Tianyi passed to him. "But Mommy doesn\'t seem to believe us when we told her you are our Daddy."
"That\'s because I haven\'t told her yet, Baobao." Feng Tianyi ruffled the boy\'s hair before starting to work around the kitchen. "Don\'t worry. I\'ll let her know soon so she wouldn\'t have to worry too much."
Maybe it was Tang Moyu\'s pride and fear that was stopping her to look for the man who fathered her twins. She would rather work harder than to seek for the stranger that might share the same rare blood type as her little buns.
But Feng Tianyi would never deny her and their children whatever they needed. He swore he would do his best to provide for the three of them.
"Stop worrying. Why don\'t you help me prepare breakfast for your sister and mother? Here." He placed a clean bowl next to the kid and handed the boy a spatula. "Let\'s bake something special for your mother today, since she would need a lot of rest to regain her strength."
Xiao Bao grinned happily at his father and nodded to his suggestion. Working in the kitchen with Daddy was so much better than playing alone while waiting for his twin sister to wake up.
