Chapter 412 - A Woman in Love (2)

The team she had put together with Lu Tianxin held high regards for her as the company\'s CEO. They were considered the best in their field, but weren\'t given the opportunity to prove themselves until Tang Moyu, along with Lu Tianxin and Gu Yuyao, joined the company.

Because of this, they know how important it was for Tang Moyu to make sure this collaboration project with Yun Group would push through. It would be a pity if they lose a capable leader like her just because of some petty rivalry within the Tang family.

"We have worked so hard for this, you all should take an early leave today. Thank you for your hard work!" The empress gently smiled to her team as she made final remarks on the construction plan for the project.

Everyone complied and thanked her. They picked up their things and left one by one, leaving Tang Moyu with Lu Tianxin.

"I think you should go home too, Tianxin. Luo Luo must be missing you these days." She told her cousin.

"Are you sure, Moyu? You haven\'t gotten enough sleep for days too. What about you?" Lu Tianxin asked her worriedly. With Feng Tianyi been away for a week now, the little buns were temporarily staying with their Mommy Fen because of Tang Moyu\'s hectic schedule.

"I\'m fine, Tianxin. I\'ll just finish this and I will also go home." Tang Moyu assured her.

"Okay…" Lu Tianxin didn\'t know what else to say and left Tang Moyu alone. Even Chen Ning had left already, so only the empress and the security personnel outside remained within the Tang Enterprise.

Tang Moyu rose to her feet and went to her office, intending to finish everything on her own. She needed extra time to review the plan to make sure nothing would go wrong once the construction started.

She sat stiffly on her seat for a long time, her head buried behind the pile of papers sitting on top of her desk. Suddenly, her phone rang, breaking the silence of the room she was in.

Tang Moyu\'s pen hovered over the paper she was working on and eyed her phone. Feng Tianyi\'s name flashed on the screen as \'Qin Jiran\'. She realized that she had long been accustomed to him as that mysterious author that she hadn\'t even bothered to change his name on her contact list.

She put down her pen, removed her spectacles from her face and took a deep breath before picking up the call.

"Hello."

"Are you still in the company?" Came Feng Tianyi\'s question.

"Yes. Why? Baobao and Little Star are with your mother right now. Have you given them a call?" She asked back.

Tang Moyu heard him laugh from the other side.

"No. I wanted to see and talk to my wife, first and foremost."

"But aren\'t you still on a business trip? I thought you said you\'ll be there with Song Fengyan for two weeks?" She asked in surprise. It had only been ten days since the devil left Shenzhen with his cousin to oversee the production of Xiao Xing at Mengyin.

"The crucial part is over and Fengyan said he could cover the rest for me. I just got off from the plane an hour ago. Come down, Moyu. I want to see you." She heard him say.

His tone had a hint of tiredness in it, yet his words were able to move the empress\'s heart. Tang Moyu knew how tired he could be from his long business trip, but for him to come here to see her as soon as he landed, how can she not fall in love over and over again with this man?

"Give me a minute. I\'ll be there soon." She said before hanging up, quickly tidying her desk and turning off the lights in her office before taking her bag and windbreaker.

As she stood alone inside the elevator, eagerly waiting for it to arrive at the parking space of the company, she realized that she was also missing him.

Tang Moyu looked at her reflection in the mirror inside the elevator and noticed how haggard she looked these days. She hoped that Feng Tianyi wouldn\'t think of her as ugly in her current state.

She had neither been worried about her physical appearance before not how men would perceive her. She hadn\'t paid much attention to it until now.

Although exhaustion was apparent on her face, there was a hint of happiness in her eyes, the smile curling on her lips had contentment on it. Tang Moyu then realized that the woman staring back at her was a woman in love. The empress was shocked at the realization.

When the elevator reached her destination, Tang Moyu was still trying to sort these new feelings she was having. She suppressed her urge to run. She wanted to see Feng Tianyi sooner than she was anticipating.

She stepped out of the elevator. Her high heels made a cl.i.c.k.i.n.g noise on the floor as she walked to reach where Feng Tianyi was waiting. There were two guards she\'d met half way and they greeted her politely.

Her breath hitched for a moment when she saw him. He was wearing a deep gray suit and a black trenchcoat, his right hand holding his cane.
