Chapter 913 All Hell Break Loose (9)

Chapter 913 All Hell Break Loose (9)

Mo\'s fist slammed into the automaton\'s shield, resulting in a metal-hitting-metal sound that rang in the air.

"Please be careful. We cannot have you losing your head just yet," the automaton told Breira while pushing his shield upward and forcing Mo\'s fist away.

Mo was momentarily stunned at the black armored soldier\'s very timely interference. But he recovered just as fast and followed the trajectory of the latter\'s push to avoid getting himself pushed out of balance. After which, he used the initial course of the trajectory to execute a complete turn before raising his leg to perform a hook kick, aiming at Breira\'s temple.

By this time, Breira had already regained much of his awareness and wits and did not remain standing there like a frozen statue. He raised his arm, where he had already equipped his Divine Armament to block Mo\'s kick.

Knowing that he could not completely counter the strength of Mo\'s kick, Breira followed his block with a punch using his free hand, aiming it at Mo\'s exposed thigh.

"Humph," Mo snorted as he vanished just before Breira\'s fist landed.

Breira\'s eyes narrowed as he made full use of his perception to detect where Mo would appear next. But before he could even do so, the automaton beside him had already moved and placed his shield at Breira\'s blind spot— his back.

Another resounding metallic sound rang out as Mo\'s knee hit the automaton\'s shield.

\'This guy...!\' Mo could not help but scowl at the black armored soldier with Breira.

The exchange between them had only been executed for no more than ten seconds, and seeing how Mo was being blocked by one of the black armored soldiers and could not land a proper move on Breira, the Legendary-level Knights had finally decided to join in.

In terms of numbers, Breira and Mo\'s group appeared equal.

However, Mo believed his group had the advantage in terms of experience, expertise, and level. Besides, they already knew the Divine Armaments of the black armored soldiers since they were already equipped with them, completely removing the element of surprise from their end. On the other hand, Mo\'s side had yet to summon theirs. If each of them fought the soldier whose Divine Armament was weak to theirs, they could easily win the advantage over their side.

Though Mo did not communicate his thoughts with his group, the Legendary-level Knights all moved accordingly and engaged the Breira\'s side.

Meanwhile, the automatons, apart from the one beside Breira, who appeared indifferent to Mo\'s sudden attack, also moved.

Back to Breira\'s side, the automaton who blocked Mo\'s knee attack pushed his shield upward once more, wanting to push Mo away.

But Mo was already prepared. Not waiting for the black armored soldier to use the shield to push him off balance, Mo already jumped. When he reached a certain point of his jump, he vanished once more.

Breira, sensing this, felt exasperated. This was one of the things that he hated about Mo— his innate ability to make himself invisible. Mo\'s innate ability was already a pain, but what made it worse was that his innate magic— Gravity, worked well with it.

That was right. Others would have mistaken Mo\'s innate magic for Space because of his appearance and disappearance, but that was not the case.

Using Gravity magic, Mo could make himself light as a feather and heavy as a tank. When he was light as a feather, he could display monstrous movement speed. And when he used his magic to make himself heavy, his physical attack could easily blow an average beast-like and complete being\'s skull to smithereens. Of course, Gravity magic did not really make him heavy per se, but he could multiply the force of attraction between himself and his target. Depending on that force, he could easily deal a massive blow to his target.

But Mo\'s way of using his innate magic could not be considered flawless. For one thing, there were knights who could repel his pull, thus lessening the force of attraction.

Breira was one of those knights, which was why Mo could not use his magic directly on him. Besides, the former was also an aide. If Mo still insisted on using that technique, Breira would likely use it to his advantage and deal him with a similarly powerful counter.

"Right torso," the automaton blurted just as Breira watched Mo appear with his body lowered and his fist poised to punch Breira\'s right torso.

Breira lowered his arm just in time to block Mo\'s fist, "Ngh...!"— but ended up letting out a small grunt as the latter\'s fist seemed to have weighed a ton.

"Humph!" Mo dragged his punch and hurled Breira to the side. After that, he disappeared once more.

The automaton did not try to save Breira because he deemed the act to be stupid. After all, if he tried to stop Breira from getting thrown to the side, he would end up going with him. Instead, the automaton slammed his shield forward.

Mo\'s eyes widened as he reappeared in time when the shield slammed onto his body.

Mo failed to use the shield\'s trajectory to reduce the impact and was sent hurling backward. While he was in midair, he vanished once more.

SLAM! CRASH!

The time it took Breira to slam onto the wall was the same it took the automaton to attack Mo.

Breira managed to retain his balance and only fell on one knee. He then looked at the automaton that successfully hit Mo and let out a wry smile. He had seen what happened while he was sent flying and felt complex emotions at the automaton\'s response.

He felt that the automaton\'s actions and movements were far more fluid compared to when they fought them. With this in mind, he looked at the rest of the automatons already engaged in combat with the rest of the Legendary-level Knights with Mo.

Contrary to what was initially expected, the automatons were not at a disadvantage against the Legendary-level Knights. Although the former could not find their momentum, given the advantage of the latter\'s Divine Armament over them, they easily adjusted their battle approach and fought quite well.

Breira could not help but let out an inward sigh while watching them.

The automatons\' movements and actions had definitely improved by leaps and bounds after their Master adjusted their programming. The more Breira witnessed what their Master could do, the more he felt assured that he had made the right decision in following him.

Breira\'s eyes instantly flashed as he sensed an incoming danger from above. He instinctively raised one arm to protect his head while also protecting his lower torso.

BAM! BAM!

"Guah...!" Breira spat out a mouthful of blood as another powerful blow from Mo slammed on both sides of his torso. Although he had one arm protecting his torso, he could not fully counter the weight of Mo\'s punches.

"You have a pretty good helper," Mo complimented as he slowly appeared before Breira. "But don\'t think I would be stopped from meteing out your punishment just because of him."

"Get down!"

Breira need not be told twice. Although he was rendered a little disoriented after receiving Mo\'s punches, he managed to catch sight of the automaton\'s movement. Before the latter could warn him, he had already lowered his body to the floor.

"Tsk!" Mo clicked his tongue as he sensed an incoming danger from his back. With his high perception, he managed to sense where the black armored soldier would aim his shield and immediately turned to the other side to evade it.

However.

BAM!

"Ngh...!" Mo let out a surprised grunt as he slammed into what appeared to be a very solid wall.

It was quite unfortunate for Mo that the moment he decided to turn to the side, the automaton had anticipated it after noticing the shift in the former\'s muscles. Although Mo was wearing armor and his muscles could not exactly be seen, the automaton\'s eyes, which could not really be considered \'human eyes,\' managed to detect all those minute changes. He then changed his attack to come from the side where Mo planned to escape.

Without waiting for Mo to recover, Breira hoisted his body, using his hands to push it upward. He then aimed his feet at Mo\'s exposed back, kicking the latter upward.

BAM! BAM! BAM!

Breira did not stop with one kick. He sent out one kick after another, relentlessly taking advantage of Mo\'s disoriented state.

The automaton did not join in the attack. Since his shield was huge and could end up hitting Breira as well, he watched in silence while waiting for a chance to attack.

"BREIRA!"

And that chance arrived soon enough.
