“Haha, only 6 minutes in and they’re already left cowering under the turret!” Earth from Team Stardust burst out in laughter.
“Team Skycrown’s leader Alistar is truly aggressive, but this is really on Team Sunlight. So many teams to challenge and they just had to challenge Team Skycrown, even Team Sky was destroyed by the Fighting Hawk... To be honest, I thought Fighting Hawk mained ADC, I didn’t think he would be this good at Support too. I don’t think we’d be able to handle the engages and roams from this bottom lane combo either,” Wind said.
As the LPL teams were recounting the events of the match thus far, similar discussions popped up in Demacia Cafe.
Team Sunlight should’ve had a clean victory against the defending team, but they were obviously falling behind even though they had previously claimed to be on par with the LPL star teams.
Their bottom lane was hard-stuck under the turret, not even daring to step out to farm. This sort of situation didn’t appear often in normal ranked games, but who would have expected it to happen in a professional competition, especially by the famous Team Sunlight!
“Remember to check the internet connection and power source, I hear that some teams like to kick out the internet and power whenever they’re in a bad situation, don’t give them that chance!” Jian Feng said, deliberately raising his voice.
The members of Team Sunlight turned slightly pale!
They had used this tactic once against a particularly strong team. Being beaten as badly as they were now, they were strongly considering pulling the same stunt this time as well so they could start a rematch, but they were found out.
“Hmph, the wires are all secured beneath the floorboards, they’re safe!” Boss Lei replied coldly.
Did you think Demacia Cafe was some dingy streetside cybercafe? Like hell would a top-end club like ours let you use such lowly tactics!

10 minutes in and Team Sunlight had pretty much lost all 3 lanes.
Wu Sen had solo-killed Ahri in the mid lane, the bottom lane was as good as empty, and Da Luo was proxy farming up in the top lane. Not much else was needed to be said, the skill gap between the two teams only needed ten minutes to make itself as clear as day!
However, since they had promised to finish Team Sunlight in 20 minutes, Luocheng wasn’t going to back down.
After pushing through the bottom lane, Luocheng started decorating the enemy’s jungle with wards.
Luocheng was already a master ganker with Alistar, and with him and Zhou Yan roaming together, the mid and top lane were left to play the rest of the game in monochrome.
Hiding under the tower was pointless, big daddy Alistar will extract you himself, taking your precious tower down right after taking your life!
13 minutes in and Team Sunlight had lost all of their outer turrets while Team Skycrown had a over 7,000 gold advantage.
With the Baron spawning in, Team Skycrown swiftly claimed it, pushing their lead even further, and after a quick Ace, they moved in to take down the Inhibitor!
18 and a half minutes on the clock, Team Sunlight had a minute and a half left before they could surrender.
In this one and a half minutes, maybe they could think of an excuse as to why they were beaten so badly in front of the public!
When the Nexus was finally destroyed, the guests of Demacia Cafe couldn’t react for a very long while.
Their defending team had always had a hard time in previous challenges, sometimes having to hide at home while the semi-professional teams busted down the door.
But today, they were like a completely different team, completely dominating their lanes and working together like a well-oiled machine, all of their shot calls were clear and effective.
On the other hand, Team Sunlight obviously didn’t stand a chance against the defending team in lane, neither could they keep up with the level of synergy the defending team had. Leona had had several instances of Flash ulting only for no one to follow up, Ahri had been dashing here and there into the enemy team only to get one-shotted instantly, and the viewers had completely forgotten about the top lane’s Jax save for the occasional announcement when he had died.
It felt like watching a bunch of kids get into a fistfight with a group of adults, they were completely and utterly outmatched in every way!
The 5 members of Team Sunlight hung their heads low after the match ended.
They were basically a second-rate career team, how could they have lost to some random team from a random cybercafe?
The match was being streamed live too! That meant that all of their fans had just witnessed first-hand how they had been grinded into submission!
“Why did Team Sunlight lose so badly, they didn’t even last 20 minutes.”
“Yeah, they said they could easily fight the LPL teams and not many teams within our country could compete with them, especially not cause them to lose at 18, right?”
“Weird, Team Sunlight performed so well in the past, so why...” A fan of Team Sunlight said.
Jian Feng let out a sigh, he knew the time had come and he stood up to say, “I know you lot don’t watch professional matches, but how could you be so clueless.”
“In professional games, all players know each others’ playstyles and weaknesses, as well as every strength or shortcoming of their own champions. Their fights aren’t only determined by who has better skills, but determination and psychological warfare are at play as well, all they need to do is to just see who makes the first mistake...”
“Don’t think that just because the top laner didn’t go in when the enemy was low on health that the player is a wimp. It could be because he suspects that the enemy Jungler might be waiting for him to make a wrong move. All of them thought they were the best, that professional players are nothing more than noobs with a job. To put it simply, even if you get into Challenger rank, you probably still wouldn’t even have the chance of facing the LPL pro players in-game, so don’t naively assume that you can take them on 5 vs 5.
“Team Sunlight are a bunch of low-tier nobodies who bullies noobs on live streams and claim that they are pros, and yet, they can’t even hold 20 minutes against real LPL players! Before, when they never tried with their all, you could spread your lies with full confidence, telling everyone that beating the LPL teams would be a piece of cake for players of their caliber, even going as far as to say that they should be allowed to participate in Worlds. But now you see, 18 minutes and they’re gone!”
Jian Feng’s words rang loudly in the empty heads of Team Sunlight’s fans.
With reality smacking them right across the face, what else could be said?
“We...We just weren’t playing as well as we could, LPL players have flukes too! So what if they won one game, you know how hard it is to make a comeback when the enemy team starts snowballing early!” Bing Bing maintained a dark expression, still choosing to fight even though their loss was anything but an accident.
“Yeah, every team has bad games.”
“That’s right, so what? You’re allowed to act high and mighty but they can’t have a bad game? They’re just not used to the keyboards and mouses here, that’s all!” In the club, people were still blindly supporting Team Sunlight.
It couldn’t be helped, Team Sunlight had been streaming for so long that toxic fans couldn’t differentiate between strong and weak players when they saw them.
Jian Feng couldn’t take it anymore, these people must have had sh*t stuck where their brains should’ve been. Regardless of how “bad” of a game you were having, you still shouldn’t lose before 20 minutes!
Luocheng let out a laugh as he saw these clowns fighting for their idols.
Luocheng stood up from his spot and walked over to Team Sunlight, saying, “In a professional match, a win is a win, a loss is a loss. Without any sense of sportsmanship or stability in your own abilities, how are you going to enter the LPL or even represent our country in the S International League? Who the f*ck is going to give a sh*t when you claim to have had a “bad game”?”
Professional battles meant war, the end result would decide whether you would walk home in glory or in shame, it wasn’t a children’s playground!
Luocheng felt more and more disgusted toward Team Sunlight, these sorts of teams shouldn’t even be called career gamers, let alone the LPL and S League! They would just pollute the already unstable professional gaming industry!
Tumors like this needed to be removed completely from the competitive scene!
“Okay, since you say it was a fluke, I’ll offer you the chance at a rematch,” Luocheng said with a mixture of calm and fury, “Our team will always be here, ready and willing to accept Team Sunlight’s challenge, no matter how many matches you want, we will happily comply. As long as you last more than 20 minutes, we’ll count that as our loss!”
“And also, from today onward, our Team Skycrown will accept challenges from any team in the country. Didn’t you say that you were better than pro-players, than the LPL star teams? Now, I offer all of you the chance to fight against our LPL professional team. If you have the ability, I welcome you to try and defeat us. If you don’t, I’d like you to kindly shut up and stop spouting bullsh*t about how you’re better than the other players in the competitive scene!”
Luocheng’s words were clear, and the camera crew shot a closeup of Luocheng’s profile, soaking up every last word!
His words swept through the cafe and all two hundred thousand viewers at home like a hurricane!
Team Skycrown!
Team Sunlight had been challenging Team Skycrown!
Anybody who had watched the LPL would remember this team, the terrifying team that had ended their game with Team Sky with a combined kill count of over 100!
They had disappeared for the good part of a year and people had thought that they had disbanded after being banned from competitions.
Who would’ve thought that they were hiding in a cybercafe, accepting challenges from various teams. Even more shocking was that the LPL killer, world-class player Fighting Hawk, was challenging the entire China LOL community!!
From today on, Team Skycrown would accept a challenge from any team in the country.
No team would make an absurd announcement like that including the LPL teams, because they had to manage their public appearances, they couldn’t just show up in random competitions in a small club.
But while the other LPL star teams were scared, Team Skycrown was fearless, they had nothing to lose!
Having hidden in the shadows for so long, Luocheng knew that when he announced their true identities as Team Skycrown, the whole cybercafe would be stunned into silence!
“It...it really...it really is Team Skycrown...” Feng Da and his mates were going mad!
Manager Duo Duo’s eyes were about to fall out of their sockets!
The troll Support that had taken refuge in his shop for over two months was the leader of Team Skycrown, the world-renowned player that had left Team Sky a bloody, mangled mess!
Oh my god! Duo Duo was about to faint!
“Boss Lei, Boss Lei, can you explain what’s going on here? How is it that your defending team is the Team Skycrown that had shocked the world during the LPL!?” The hostess was exhilarated by this turn of events.
The hostess had originally thought that Mr Lei had paid them to just come over for an interview, who knew there was such a big scoop waiting for them! E-sports had risen dramatically in terms of internet popularity, breaking news like this was going to go viral!
Boss Lei quickly straightened his back and controlled his expression.
In all honesty, Boss Lei himself had been shocked by Luocheng’s provocation as well.
Didn’t they agree to only announce Team Skycrown’s identity?
Go ahead and announce it all you like, but why challenge literally every LOL team in the country!? Demacia Cafe was going to be the public’s enemy number one! Luocheng, how could you... how could you be so amazing!!! This sort of viral news was exactly what I’ve been waiting for!!!
