Chapter 383 Journey To The Giant Shadow Werewolves
However, with a wave of the hand, Glenn dispersed it all.
A gangway was thrown from the ship to the ground.
A typical pirate-looking man, almost as fat as Gangway, steadily strolled down the vessel.
He was rough-looking, and the clothes he wore were parched at different corners, a party of different colors.
His black hair, obviously unkempt, leaked from underneath his pirate hat up to his shoulders.
The moment his approach was steady, Lenny could smell the stench of oil and gun powder on his person.
He stopped right before Glenn with a broad smile on his face, displaying his uneven teeth.
He had not even started talking, and Glenn already regretted standing too close to him.
It was really impressive how the breath from his mouth superseded the stench from his body.
However, it was not something that she could not bear.
"Ciri! It\'s so good to see you. I was starting to think you know longer love your dear old Crimson."
Captain Crimson was a tall man. Compared to the more petite-looking Glenn, his size was even more exaggerated.
Glenn raised a finger at him, "First, it\'s no longer Ciri. It\'s Glenn. That is my name. Secondly, it has truly been a while, Crimson. I would hug you, but I really did not miss you that much."
Crimson chuckled a bit. "I see, and what of your junior sisters? If I remember correctly, Nana used to like my pirate stories. It has been many years since your domain came to these parts. How about you call her here? Let me say something nice to her just once. I have gotten really good, you know," Crimson chuckled lowly.
However, Glenn\'s smile froze. "I hate to inform you, but unfortunate events have happened to Nana. She has journeyed to the other side."
"Oh! I see." Crimson nodded in understanding.
Nana was the name of a soul that used to be in this body.
However, it had not been so fortunate as to become the old ones that molded together to form Glenn.
The reason was because Nana was the soul lost when Hector had used the voice of Bedlam against Ciri.
Glenn turned to Lenny.
"Lenny Tales, this is Captain Crimson, the Captain of the Crimson Leviathan. He will take you to where you can find information on what you need."
Lenny stepped forward toward the man.
Instantly, Surveyor was activated.
Captain Crimson was weaker than Lenny. Lenny could see his stats as clear as day.
"Hmmm, so you are a captain and a sorcerer. That explains the giant crocodiles."
Captain Crimson turned to Glenn with obvious surprise on his face.
She giggled a bit. "Lenny Tales is a half-born. He is quite sensitive to magic."
Captain Crimson nodded his head as he stretched his hand to shake Lenny.
"Wow, a half-born. Your kind are very rare. If I\'m not mistaking, only found in the Arenas of the Demon Towns."
Lenny returned the gesture. However, the moment their palms met, Lenny got an alert from the Satan System.
This pirate sorcerer was checking out Lenny\'s body with negative magic.
Naturally, he did not find anything.
In fact, according to the check he did, aside from having an observable fit body, there was absolutely nothing spectacular about Lenny.
It made him frown a bit. A frown that he quickly hid.
Captain Crimson turned to Perseus and wanted to shake his hand.
However, Lenny raised a hand to stop him.
"This is my... follower, Perseus."
Perseus was not a fool. The moment Lenny introduced him as a follower, he instantly stood behind Lenny, like the position he had just been given.
"Oh, I see! I see!! Quite protective of your boy toy, eh! No problem, no problem. I understand. I have some boy toys myself—quite pretty ones too. Although none like you." Captain Crimson burst into laughter.
One no one joined him in.
Awkwardly, he decided to shut his mouth.
*Cough* "So, you two lads need to go where exactly?"
"The Giant Shadow Werewolves." Glenn answered.
"Oh, that\'s a bit too far. But since it\'s you, Cir... I mean Glenn," he quickly corrected himself at the frown on her face, "I don\'t mind doing this. But you know, you did not even invite me into your beautiful territory, and me and my mates are starving. Times have really become hard, you know, with the demons and devils and all... Even the mutated rats ain\'t easy to hunt these days. It\'s going to cost you a lot."
"How much?" Glenn asked.
With a cheeky smile on his face, he lifted two fingers in the air.
"Two pigs?" She asked.
Captain Crimson chuckled lightly. "No, my dear Elder Witch. That would be twenty pigs."
"Twenty!?" Glenn frowned. "How dare you!? That\'s fucking ROBBERY!"
As she talked, the clouds rumbled a bit with lightning, making Captain Crimson shriek a bit.
Lightning even struck, not far away from the ship, scaring the crocodiles that pulled it.
"Come on now, Elder Glenn. It\'s... It\'s.... Not my fault. Inflation is on the rise, and things are really hard. How about I make it fifteen? After all, we are old friends."
*Ratatat!*
More lightning strikes the ground.
"Okay! Okay!! Twelve, Twelve! but that is the lowest I\'m going. Please remember, I have a crew and four giant crocodiles to feed."
The sky suddenly settled, and Glenn had a smile on her face. "Twelve it is then."
She waved her hands, and pigs were suddenly rushed out of the domain.
"Hmmm, you are very good at haggling. Not bad!" Lenny complimented in her ear.
"You flatter me. Trust me when I say this. Those crocodiles are prettier than their owners. Even with twelve pigs, I\'m still sure that I\'m on the losing end of this deal."
Lenny could tell from Captain Crimson\'s fake sad face that Glenn was right.
The pigs were led up into the vessel by some brutish men, tanned dark by the scorching sun.
Glenn gave Lenny a kiss on the cheek. "Remember to be safe, and be careful when you get there. Werewolf packs are not easy to deal with. But if there is anyone that can help you get to Judas, then it is them..."
