Chapter 193: The Raiding And Grinding [2]
Adrian nodded, acknowledging the warning. "Understood. We\'ll adjust our approach accordingly."
As they arrived at the entrance to the Echoing Hollows, a group of earth elementals emerged from the shadows. They were hulking figures of stone and soil, their eyes glowing with an inner light. Without hesitation, the elementals launched a surprise attack, their movements swift and coordinated.
A cold glint passed through Adrian\'s eyes. He didn\'t flinch or show any sign of fear. Instead, he flicked his fingers, and in an instant, his Shade Hounds sprang from the shadows surrounding him.
The Shade Hounds moved with deadly precision, their dark forms blending seamlessly into the environment. They tore into the earth elementals with ferocity, their fangs and claws leaving deep gouges in the rocky exteriors of their enemies. Despite their size and power, the elementals found themselves overwhelmed by the relentless assault.

Brakkar and Gnarl watched in awe and fear as Adrian\'s Shade Hounds decimated the attacking elementals. The battle was swift and brutal, the Shade Hounds tearing through their opponents with ease. Within moments, the earth elementals were defeated, their crumbled forms scattered across the rocky ground.
Would the same fate await us if we hadn\'t agreed back then? The two of the chiefs and their followers had the same question in their minds.
Adrian turned to his allies, his expression calm and collected. "Strength and power, you said? Consider this a demonstration."
Brakkar though afraid still grinned, his respect for Adrian growing. "Impressive, Warlord. You have shown them the true meaning of power."
Gnarl nodded, his serpentine eyes gleaming with approval. "Indeed. With such power at our command, there is no force that can stand against us."
Adrian glanced at the entrance to the Echoing Hollows, his mind already working on the next steps. "Let\'s proceed. We need to secure this place as soon as possible and search for any Shadow Crystals or other valuable resources and collect them."
The group moved into the caves, their steps echoing through the dark passages. The air was cool and damp, and the walls were lined with glittering minerals and veins of precious metals. As they ventured deeper, the presence of the earth elementals became more apparent. Despite their earlier defeat, Adrian knew they would likely face more resistance as they progressed.
After a while, they reached a large cavern where the earth elementals had made their lair. The chamber was filled with the sounds of grinding stone and the glow of elemental energy. At the center of the room stood a massive earth elemental, its form more imposing and powerful than the others they had encountered.
Adrian stepped forward, his gaze fixed on the towering figure. "I am Aelion the Shadowbinder, and I offer you a choice: submit to me and join our cause, or face the same fate as your fallen comrades."
The massive elemental regarded Adrian with a look of disdain. "You think you can intimidate me with that tiny figure of yours? We are the creatures of the earth, the embodiment of its power. We bow to no one."
Adrian\'s eyes narrowed, and he raised his hand, summoning a dark aura around him. "Then you leave me no choice."
"Charge."
At his command, Brakkar and Gnarl led their subordinates, charging at the enemy. Shade Hounds and Nightstalkers surged forward after coming out of his shadow, their forms a blur of darkness and deadly precision.
The massive earth elemental roared, its voice echoing through the cavern as it summoned smaller elementals to its side. The chamber erupted into chaos, the clash of stone and shadow creating a cacophony of sound. Despite their numbers and power, the earth elementals found themselves overwhelmed by the sheer ferocity of Adrian\'s forces.
Adrian\'s Shade Hounds led the charge, their teeth and claws tearing into the elementals\' rocky exteriors. Nightstalkers darted in and out of the fray, their agility and speed allowing them to strike with pinpoint accuracy. Brakkar, wielding his massive club, and Gnarl, casting dark spells, added to the devastation.
The massive earth elemental, realizing it was outmatched, tried to summon more of its brethren, but Adrian was prepared. With a wave of his hand, he called forth a dark vortex, sucking in the smaller elementals and weakening the larger one.
"Your power is nothing compared to mine," Adrian declared, his voice cold and unyielding. "Submit, or be destroyed."
"I-I\'ll submit! Submit-!"
The massive earth elemental, its once defiant demeanor shattered, tried to back away.
Adrian\'s eyes flashed with cold determination. "Too late."

In one swift motion, Adrian summoned a Shadow Blade using 60 Shadow Crystals, a weapon forged from the darkest shadows and imbued with his avatar\'s power. The blade gleamed with an eerie, black light as he raised it high. With a single, decisive strike, he brought the blade down upon the elemental.
The cavern echoed with the sound of the blade striking stone, and the elemental\'s body shattered into countless fragments, its essence dissipating into the air. The force of the blow sent a shockwave through the chamber, causing the walls to tremble and loose stones to fall from the ceiling.

It alone gave him a high amount of loot.
Adrian sheathed his Shadow Blade, the weapon dissolving back into the shadows. He turned to his allies, his expression calm and composed. "The Echoing Hollows are now under our control. Secure the area and search for any additional resources. Bring the Shadow Crystals to me. You have 5 minutes, then we\'ll leave and continue raiding."
"Yes, Warlord!"
