Chapter 121: Crimson Death
Human meat here, human meat there, entrails and organs scattered about!
There was nothing but thousands upon thousand of pounds of pure unadulterated human insides and outsides
The entire cart was only the dinner plate for these sick goblins as they waited with voracious looks on their small, hideous faces. They gathered around the large bonfire in profuse amounts while seemingly expecting a command from the larger \'Elite Goblin\'.
And command they got as the \'Elite Goblin\'s\' nasty, screechy voice resounded out, "EEeeKkk!!!"
It sounded like nothing but incomprehensible gibberish for Azmond, but for the goblins, it was their go-ahead.
They swarmed out in droves and started to devour all the meat on the medium-sized cart. Even the goblins who were leading the carts coming into the village were no exception, as they darted over to the source of the stench with lasciviously disgusting grins on their faces.
These ones had even nastier expression than the ones that came before them!
And that was most likely because they were aiming for something else than the large pile of human body parts
A particularly large stone lay adjacent to the pile of human meat, and inside this hut were a vast number of human women Every single one of the women inside the hut looked like nothing more than huskless corpsescorpses who looked like they had nothing left to live for.
It didn\'t take a genius to understand what the goals of these goblins were when they approached this stone hut. They were after a different type of pleasure than the one that consuming meat could provide
"..." Azmond\'s face darkened considerably when he saw the large quantity of goblins bombarding the larger stone hut.
An aura unlike that of when he\'s around Crystalline began to materialize with him at the center. The aura grew at absurd speeds as a deep crimson/black aura suffocated the very atmosphere the goblins needed to breathe.
Simultaneously, and all at once, every single one of the goblins below noticed the menacing aura as soon as it was released. And their reaction was the complete opposite of anything you\'d expect from monsters
Without exception, a deep and unknown fear crept up on every single one of their ugly faces. It was a fear that told them they would die
And they would.
The release of Azmond\'s aura was followed up by the lifting of his free hand before he began to summon something
It was something that left the goblins in a state of absolute terror, as they saw a large eastern-style pitch black sword around 9 feet long appear in his palm.
Such an action was followed by him grasping the kantana with the entirety of his strength before pulling his arm back, as an aura began to permeate outwards from the menacing blade.
His deep, raspy voice sounded out soon after, as a face that looked like it came from the deepest layers of hell emerged on his face.
He was pissed!
The goblins saw that look on the unknown monster\'s face and decided something for themselves. And, without communicating with each other, every single disgusting goblin spread out and ran in an arbitrary direction.
They had not a single bit of hesitation when coming to such a decision. It was just their will to live that told them they needed to run...
They really needed to run!
As fast as they could and as far as they could!
They couldn\'t look back! Lest that monster see them
So that is exactly what they didthey ran for their lives without turning back!
"You disgusting piggies truly think that even a single one of you will be able to escape from me?" His voice came out like a calm summer breeze, with no emotions present in his stalwart figure.
And as if his voice were the prelude to the calm before the storm
The storm was announced!
The dark, crimson aura gathering above his katana suddenly increased by a factor of 10 as the tip of the energy emission reached the clouds above!
Everything within a ten-mile radius was immediately lit up like a dark red firework on the fourth of July!
A firework that would spell the end for every single one of the goblins that had the gall to run away from him!
The congregation of immense dark and crimson energies swiftly swirled around each, followed by a deep intertwinement that led to the two contrasting energies becoming one.
Such an almegation of death loomed over the lives of every goblin who couldn\'t seem to get their stubby legs to move fast enough.
The \'Elite Goblin\' had escaped the farthest distance away, but even his legs began to violently quiver when he saw the mass of crimson energies build up in the heavens!
....
A man who resembled that of a fallen immortal and a beautiful woman with long brown hair clinging to said man were floating among the skies above.
The two of them appeared to be in a state of tranquility. It is almost as if the certain death above was not caused by Azmond himself
A death that was on the verge of falling.
That was when the voice of the banished immortal echoed outit was a voice devoid of any semblance of emotion as he stared down at all the ant-like goblins running away.
"Do you wish to know why you will be dying now, green piggies?" A fierce glint flashed past his sapphire eyes.
Although no response came back, he continued his eerie speech.
"... If so, then I can answer your queries." His face darkened to such a degree that even his voice began to leak killing intent.
"It\'s because you disgust me!"
Such an ice-cold proclamation was followed by the entirety of the giant crimson blade being unleashed!
