Chapter 161: First Tribulation! 3
"UGH! Fuck you!" The beast tamer cursed, prompting Draco to stop joking around and turn serious.
"Well, isn\'t that rude?" Draco\'s tone turned cold, making the pinned down tamer\'s shiver.
Draco looked back at the corpse of the dragon and then at the empty location where the overseer used to sit. Starting from the 800th wave, he had a hard time keeping up with the stronger Tribulation Overlords in his base form.
The Overseer had multiple forms, each one stronger, however, for Draco to maintain the other forms, he had to pay a price and he would rather use better skills than using them.
Thus, throughout the 801st to the 899th wave, he used a new [Sinful Conquest] spell.
[All Mighty Chaos]
From his positions, a flame of chaos surrounded him like an aura and from there... it spread in all directions.
*Fwshhhhhhh*
"AAAAAAAaaarg-!" the beast tamer screamed as high as he could in pain before his voice was snuffed out, All that remained was a wasteland that was quickly reformed once the 901st wave began... only to burn immediately after.
One thing Draco loved about this spell was that, it could remain for as long as he wanted.
Thus, Throughout the 901st to the 999th wave, all he heard was the finest music for his ears to enjoy, roars and screams that echoed out for a few minutes, vibrating the place, before being snuffed out... completely.
[Wave 1000 out of 1000. You\'re the first Emperor to ever reach the final wave. We wish you all the luck.]
For once, the notification that appeared in front of Draco was completely different than the rest.
Draco watched as the flames died out and the plane returned to normal, the stars above him shining healthily.
"Haha, is this supposed to be a challenge?" Draco laughed, being more and more amused by the tower.
What appeared in front of him was...
"My thoughts exactly." A clone of himself.
The divilish handsomness was there for the world to see, two greenish horns coming out of his head and leaning downwards with a little u on their pointy ends.
Draco\'s clones hair was green, similar to his horns and he was wearing metal armor with a green cape on his left shoulder.
Over all, he looked like a great commander, overlooking the world with utter coldness.
"And here, I thought the last wave would be difficult." Draco shook his head, his clone looking at him coldly.
Draco wasn\'t perfect; he was still inexperienced and only charged with the memories of those he devoured; he could and had made mistakes; he didn\'t know many of the things that were around him and could cause problems for him.
But, he could always be better as a person. This he knew.
He knew that what truly made him special and his own self, instead of an amalgamation of different living or rather dead, beings, was his own goals and drive.
But one he had absolutely no weak points in... was progress.
Draco was the fastest growing entity in every single world or planet; the time it took him to advance from F-Rank to Origin Emperor was less than the time a supreme genius took to become a B-Rank.
It\'s important to keep in mind that Draco became an Origin Emperor far earlier than when he made his [Sinful Conquest] Origin law, and that he became so by the end of the expedition with the beastmen.
He could guess that, similar to what the tigerwoman told him before he entered the tower, this last wave was the tower\'s last attempt to make him expand his Origin Law to greater heights.
For Draco... That was the easiest thing possible.
A single system command was all it took for him to make an entirely new skill tree that could decimate all of his previous defences and offenses, and this clone definitely couldn\'t make them.
Thus...
[Perfected Chaos Overseer]
When the clone used the last form of the Overseer, Draco just smeared and muttered.
[Anti-Chaos]
One thing Draco thought of that he believes is absolutely genius was the idea of making a counter for every single ability he made and saw.
For example, [Unfated] Fate\'s spell that made every one of their skills absolutely useless was easily overcome by Draco using weapons instead of skills. Not any weapons, of course, but those that have tracking abilities like the \'Fate Killers\'.
And the same remained true for his own spells.
"How dare a clone use chaos against me." Draco sneered.
The Chaos Overseer that was summoned by the clone turned to look at its summoner instead of Draco.
"Heh, Don\'t think I will go down so easily. [Sinful Conquest]." Using Draco\'s skill that allowed him to conquer everything within his field of vision, the Overseer\'s abyssal color started slowly changing into a crimson one.
Draco watched this and started getting annoyed.
\'If I don\'t finish this in a minute, that will act as proof that I\'m not as fast to adapt as I thought, but if I do finish in a minute, that means that I have many loose ends to fix... But who am I to complain.\' Draco\'s mind faced a dilemma, but upon thinking about it for a while, he came to the conclusion that nobody was perfect.
One way or another, all of his defenses will fall short, if not through an offensive method, then through the intensity of the attack.
One thing that couldn\'t be copied by the clone, however, was Draco\'s infinite mana and health, which were connected to the six continents of Portalia.
Thus, all Draco had to do if he couldn\'t come across an offensive method was to create a skill tree with damage that exceeded anything an Origin Emperor could defend against or in this case... a Celestial.
