Chapter 64: Orkish WAAAGH! (4)
Interestingly enough, this Space Hulk wasn\'t the construction of the Greenskins, but according to the architecture and style of the Spaceship, it must have belonged to some High-Level Civilization outside of the Andromeda Galaxy.
The most probable scenario was that this Spaceship was either abandoned by the original owners due to something or it was taken from them by force by the Greenskins because of the significant damages done to the Starships that could be seen even with free eye.
This time, Arcturus was teleporter to the Space Hulk Number 003 alone without his Battle Droids because this was essentially a solo mission, as he wanted to set the Starship on the self-destruct.
Not to mention, this Space Hulk most probably housed a pretty ridiculous number of the Greenskins, so in the end, his Battle Droids would be destroyed sooner or later, as they would be overrun by the ferocious Greenskins who had the numbers.
According to the Red Queen\'s calculation, she predicted that Arcturus could handle most of the Greenskions on the deck of the Space Hulk, if he used the Dimension Empyrean, coupled with the ordinary Psionics techniques, he would able to match even the Gamma-Grade Orks.
As long as they didn\'t have powerful Weirdboyz, then everything should be okey and within the prediction of the supreme and superior artificial intelligence.
Weirdboyz, also known as a Wyrdboyz among Feral Orks, is one of the Orks\'s Psionics, unique in that he acts as a Psionic sponge, absorbing and channeling the natural gestalt Psionic Energies constantly emanated by other Orks.
Weirdboyz are the most psychically attuned of all Orks and they were fairly powerful, even though their usage of the Psionic Powers and abilities was rather crude compared to most races, but they had rather very high raw power.
The Weirdboyz\'s real danger lay in their conscious access to the Orkish Psionic Potential, the collective Psionic Potential of their whole species. This meant that if a few million Greenskins were on the battlefield, the Weirdboyz could access the Psionic Potential of these few million Greenskins and draw out their power.
This made them exceedingly dangerous foes because, under certain circumstances, there could be situations where even Epsilon-Grade Weirdboy could defeat someone who was far, far, far stronger and a few Grades higher.
Albeit at the price of their very own lives, that wasn\'t much of a problem for the Orks as long as the results were achieved. Orks were rather ferocious when they had goals that they wanted to achieve, and often, they would stop at nothing to fulfill their goals.
Because of this, most would at first try to assassinate the Weirdboyz and only then fight the rest of the Greenskins, or even the weakest of the Weirdboyz could turn into the most terrifying foes.
Though it seemed that there were only a few of the Weirdboyz in the entire Orkish WAAAGH! for some reason, which by itself was rather weird and disturbing at the same time, because this WAAAGH! was rather large.
Not really much, but it wasn\'t just an ordinary Orkish incursion into the Imperial Space like any other day, but proper Orkish WAAAGH!.
Arcturus was in the lower parts of the Space Hulk currently, in something that seemed to be some kind of engine room, judging based on the machinery that was all around the room, though he wasn\'t really sure about the fact.
Still, considering that this was most probably some kind of engine room, at least one of them, he removed several explosives that Red Queen had manufactured for him and placed them behind the huge pipes and some machinery.
If the Space Hulk didn\'t have a self-destruct system or a method to self-destruct the enormous Starship, the Red Queen would detonate them manually. At the same time, it was rather high possibility that the Spaceship didn\'t even have functioning systems already, and the Greenskins were manually controlling everything.
If that was the case, then it would most probably complicate the situation a bit, because if the original sysmtes of the Starships were down and not functioning at all, then it would slghtky, complicate the situation.
Depending on the Space Hulk, or more specifically, depending on the origin of the Space Hulk, some of their databases contained rather precious data and pieces of technology.
This one most probably belonged to the High-Level Civilization of considerable power because even though everything was old as hell, half-destroyed, and malfunctioning, it still had some interesting and impressive pieces of technology.
<Those things to your right, fifty meters away, are Dark Matter Fusion Reactors, and judging based on their structure and energy output, they are probably as advanced as that of the Eternal Imperium of the Asurya or the Veren Republic... maybe even approaching the technology of the Automatons of the Milky Way Galaxy or the Protoss Species.>
When it came to the Dark Matter Fusion Reactors, one of the most advanced pieces of Energy Generator Technology in the surrounding Galaxies, the most advanced ones were in the hands of the Automatons of the Milky Way Galaxy and some Tribes of the Protoss Species.
Mind Flayers also developed their branch of the Dark Matter Technology, but they focused more on incorporating Primordial Psionic Energy into their technology, together with some exotic elements of their Science, and so on.
\'Can you obtain blueprints from just superficial scans of the Dark Matter Fusion Reactors?\'
This time, if he managed to obtain the technology, he didn\'t plan on selling it to the Empire, but rather, he planned to manufacture the reactors by himself and sell them to the Empire afterward.
Another good thing would be manufacturing some really strongly downgraded versions of the Dark Matter Fusion Reactors and selling them to the lesser civilization. When it came to the Mid-Level Civilization he could most probably overprize the product several times and make killing from it.
This would be the best thing he could do with it because right now, he had enough capital to invest in the fledgling company, though he would need someone to manage it for him because he didn\'t really have much time for it.
Obviously, manufacturing something like the Dark Matter Fusion Reactors would require a lot of resources and manpower, something that Arcturus would need to gather for some time because it would require at least several millions of Universal Credits to just start the manufacturing plant for the Dark Matter Fusion Reactors.
And that wasn\'t talking about the permits and the scrutiny from the Eternal Imperium of the Asurya... a long short story, manufacturing anything even remotely connected to the Dark Matter could end very badly with even a single mistake.
Dark Matter was highly volatile, especially in the most advanced technologies and thus could be rather dangerous to experiment with. Even within the Eternal Imperium of the Asurya, there were only a few licensed manufacturers of the Dark Matter technologies as they needed to undergo rather extremely strict scrutiny.
Nobody wanted to have their planets to be blow up... or detonating entire Star System with a bit of a bad luck.
<Insert a few nanites into the device from your Neural Extranet Terminal Gene Implants... as long as there are not any kind of protections, I should be able to get it, this ship is very old, and that is playing into our probability...>
Arcturus nodded and did exactly the same thing that the Red Queen commanded him to do and let the Neural Extranet Terminal Gene Implants do the work. Several moments later, he had already received a notification from the Red Queen that the scanning was successful, and she had also received the blueprints for the Dark Matter Fusion Reactors.
<Neural Extranet Terminal Gene Implants managed to scan Dark Matter Fusion Reactors rather extensive scan of the reactors, so I could mostly construct it with some time, I would need few months to complete the blueprints by myself, which would require increase in the computing power.>
Arcturus accepted the note from the Red Queen as he then asked her to project him a map of this place. Soon enough, he got a mini holo-projection of the part of the Space Hulk where he was located and how he should get to his targetted destination where his target was waiting for him.
<According to the scans I conducted from the Obscurus scanning systems that were recently upgraded, the info from the Imperial Military Intelligence was right; there are more than on Ork Nob at the Space Hulk, one of them is actually 498 meters from your current location, in the lowest part of the Space Hulk for whatever reason. Should I choose this one as the first one?>
Having more than one commanding Nob at the Space Hulk was more problematic than initially because the moment he killed one, then the second one would immediately launch a brutal offensive on him.
