Chapter 190 - END THIS JOKE OF A MARRIAGE!
"I asked my driver to drop her home...that was the last I ever saw her, a month ago from today. I tried to get ahold of her to return her cell phone but well, she went MIA on me!"
Nathan concluded. And it was in this moment, everything settled back on the puzzle.
She could not tell him or did not get the chance to tell him because he had interrupted her rudely and left for his aunt's.
So for so long, she had not bothered to even get her mobile phone back??
It only made Kian more worried about her. What might have had happened to her??
He had wasted a whole month thinking she was residing in here, burning in the fire of jealousy.
When in reality, she was somewhere else. Now he was certain that she had to be residing with Madison because she had nowhere else to go.
Without wasting anymore of time, he just turned back and strode out of Nathan's office.
It only made Nathan wonder what had exactly happened?? He was more than just curious...but worried too for Tinsley.
Because he knew that Kian was a big jerk and an asshole who would go all rough when things did not go the way he wanted.
And he knew how Tinsley was by nature...soft and tolerating rather than protesting and standing up for herself.
Kian was on his way to Madison's house and he was hoping that his wife was there for he would go crazy if she was not.
In a few minutes drive, he reached Madison's house. It had been more than a few months since he last visited here.
And it was during the time, the morning when the night before, he had asked his wife to leave his house in the middle of the night after that very first lie he caught her in.
Getting out of the car, he could still see her sad face, standing by the gate as he walked away after rudely asking her to stop bothering him.
He stepped up the three stairs and before he could knock at the door, it hung open, revealing Madi on the other side.
"Look who decided to show up?"
Madi mocked and closed the door behind her, getting out to talk with him. She did not want her old grandmother to be hearing things.
After Tinsley had left for San Francisco, she was not well anymore. All she ever wanted was to go with her and get her settled in the new city but it was not possible anymore as she had gotten too old.
"Call my wife out, we are going home!"
Kian's statement was simple and to the point. He knew that Madison did not like him anymore ever since that incident where she tried to make him forgive Tinsley but he ended up insulting her about with John.
"Your wife?? Do you even have one?"
Madi retorted back with a sass. Kian only rolled his eyes, getting annoyed by this childish and immature tactic of holding him back and making him wait for more.
"Common, Madi...I m in no mood to play or beat around the bush...Tinsley??? Tinsley??? Get out here!!"
He started calling out for his wife and Madison did not stop him because he could shout her name, all he wanted but she was never going to hear him is come out for him either.
"Where is she??"
He asked her when he did not get any reply from the other side. Madi only made him wait for more, standing before him with arms crossed against her chest.
"Where the fuck us, my wife, Madison??"
Kian pressed. Madison only shrugged it off as if she was least bothered and Kian was sure...hell he was confident there was no way, Madi did not know where Tin was.
"I know you do know where she is...so be out with it already and do not waste anymore of yours and mine time!"
To that, Madison could not help the laugh that had erupted out from her gut.
Time?? He was talking about time? Abandoning the wife...who had waited for him for a whole damn month...?? And he was talking about time!
"Now you want your wife after a fucking month of ignorance?"
Kian closed his eyes, not liking how dragging this conversation was getting. All he wanted was to take his wife with him and go back home and he would figure out the next in future.
"Why do you care?? Just hand her over to me!"
"She is a human being, not your fucktoy that you want it back because you missed her on your bed!"
Madi spat and Kian roared out her name, not liking how she was addressing everything.
"Am I not speaking the truth though?? You never saw her anything more than the hole, you fucked!"
Madi got aggressive and Kian somehow controlled himself from bursting out at her. He really did not want to create a scene before the entire neighbourhood.
"Have some filter!"
Kian retorted back and Madi raised her eyebrows at him. She shoved the divorce papers towards him.
He glared at her and unfolded the papers to see what they were about and his eyes widened to its an octet, seeing what they were.
"I do not know where your slut is..."
"Fucking stop calling her like that!"
Kian interrupted Madi, losing his composure. How dare she call his wife a fucking slut??
"She was your slut though...was not she?? "
Kian closed his eyes, knowing that Madi was not going to step down. She was one stubborn woman.
"Well, as I was saying, she chose to resign from the post and handed me these papers to give you...her lord whenever he happened to cross the path...so sign it and end this joke of a marriage!"
"Hell no!!! Where the fuck is my wife??"
Kian answered, tearing off the divorce papers. He was never going to divorce her even when she wanted to...there was no escaping of this marriage!
