Chapter 383 - Painful State
After only a few steps, he suddenly couldn't keep his balance and ended up falling on the white marble floor.
"Aghh.. ouch!"
Bryana who was sleeping suddenly woke up hearing the sound of someone falling. She looked around and found Dean who fell on the floor then tried to stand back up using his cane as a support for his stout body.
"Oh, God!"
Bryana panicked and immediately got out of bed to approach her husband.
"Why did you fall like this? if you want something, you should wake me up!" Bryana was angry because she was too worried. She helped her husband to stand up but it was very difficult because his body was strong and felt heavy because he had no strength at all in his legs.
"Honey, just call Louis or Dany," Dean shouted because he couldn't bear to see Bryana having a hard time helping him.
"Okay, wait a minute," Bryana shouted then rushed out of the room to seek help while Dean was still pointed on the floor not to look down because he felt useless and even troubled his wife.
Arriving in front of the room Bryana glanced around the room and saw Louis walking towards the dining room. She immediately called out while waving her hand.
"Louis!"
Feeling his name being called, Louis looked up to the top floor where he heard the sound and saw Bryana waving her hand.
"Please help me!" Cried Bryana.
Louis immediately walked towards the stairs then went up to Bryana who immediately walked to the room showing Dean who was sitting on the floor because he was unable to stand alone.
"Please help him to move to the bed," Bryana cried worriedly then tucked a strand of her messy hair behind her ear.
"Anyway, why did you fall like this, Dean? If you can't walk, don't force it. Because if you fall, it will make you recover longer." Louis said as he led Dean to the bed while Bryana piled a pillow on the headboard used for Dean to lean on.
"I just wanted to take my phone on the table. I suddenly didn't have a balance and I ended up falling," said Dian with an uncomfortable look.
Louis sat Dean on the bed then raised his legs in an extended position. Bryana sat on the edge of the bed and looked sadly at Dean who was now in pain.
"You should have woken me up!" cried Bryana annoyed but also felt pity.
"I thought I wouldn't fall because my legs weren't so sore but I'm not strong yet. Damn it!" Dean was annoyed. "I'm tired of this state... like a useless man!"
"Don't say that, Dean...You must be able to walk normally again," exclaimed Louis who was still standing.
"I'll call the doctor," Bryana said then took his phone which was located on the table near the bed while Louis said goodbye to get out of the room.
"Hello, Doc. Can you come here now? .my husband wants his leg checked… he fell," Bryana spoke to the doctor over the phone. "Okay then. I wait."
Bryana hung up the phone then looked back at Dean who was leaning back with a tinge of sadness on his handsome face.
"Honey," Bryana called.
"I'm useless!" said Dean curtly. "The doctor said I'll get better soon but why can't I just support myself with my legs?"
"Honey, everything needs a process...It's only been a few days since we've had this incident, it's impossible to heal right away, especially if it's a bone problem," Bryana said while massaging Dean's right thigh.
"I always get you in trouble," Dean muttered to himself irritably. "I don't know how many times I've been hurt, you always have trouble taking care of me. Even now you're pregnant, I should be the one taking care of you, spoiling you but I'm even bothering you," he continued with frustration.
"Never mind. You're always in a difficult situation too to protect me..then I will not mind always taking care of you because I sincerely do it as a wife who loves you. Instead of hiring a nurse, I'd better take care of you," Bryana exclaimed then turned to Dean by getting on the bed and sitting next to him. She turned to look at her husband and then took her hand. "No matter what happens, I will always be there for you like you were always there for me."
"What if I can't walk anymore?" asked Dean in frustration.
"You can do it. I'll find a therapist to train you to walk again. I will always accompany you to struggle to be able to walk like before again," Bryana replied with a reassuring smile. She lifted the corners of Dean's lips to smile. "You have to smile again. I don't like you like this."
"I can't smile." Dean was sad again.
"Why?" Bryana asked.
"I'm afraid I can't walk anymore. It hurts so much now," Dean said sadly.
Bryana sighed, then hugged Dean and rubbed his back. "You must be patient. the doctor will come soon and will give medicine to relieve the pain. The doctor will show you a way to get you well soon."
"Thank you," Dean said as he let go of Bryana's arms.
"Next time don't do anything yourself..call me or anyone to help you. If you follow the procedure, then you will get well soon," cried Bryana with a warm smile, trying to cheer her up even though her heart hurt so much to see her dashing husband, now looks miserable.

Vania returned to the apartment. She put Vano on the bed, then turned to the cupboard and took the suitcase. The woman started to take all her clothes out of the closet and put them in the suitcase.
"I'd better go... I don't want to share I'm tired of his always loud and jerk attitude!" Vania chuckles annoyed while packing. "I can be without him ... without the money from him. And Vano doesn't need a father like him!"
Drettt... Drett
Her phone, still in her pocket, rang. She immediately picked it up and saw an incoming call from Max.
"Hello, Max," said Vania when she answered the call.
"Vania, what happened? Why did you ask for Veronica's photo? Do you want to see her? Max asked over the phone.
"I didn't mean to see him but I saw her in Carlos' office..and the most disgusting thing is, I saw the safety in the trash ... and Carlos's neck was full of kiss marks. They must have made love!" said Vania imagining how her husband was making out with another woman in the office. She didn't feel her tears just dripping, she felt her patience didn't pay off at all, instead it hurt her so deeply. Leaving is the best way than continuing to get hurt. "I'll leave him, Max."
